1. Do I have to sign up for a new account to order?
There is no need to create an account when ordering on our website. Simply click on a product, add it to your cart and checkout.

2. How do I order from 1-800-PetMeds?
Via website: To start shopping you can simply browse by category or pet symptom, or search by keyword to begin adding items to your cart.
Via catalog: If you have our latest sales catalog, you can shop by entering the product's SKU number in our Shop By Catalog page. |

3. How do I order my pet's prescription (Rx) medications?
It’s simple! Just select the item and proceed to the checkout. As a licensed pet pharmacy, we are required by law to dispense only veterinarian authorized medications (Heartgard Plus, Revolution, Sentinel, Rimadyl, etc), so you will be asked to provide your veterinarian’s contact information for verification purposes. But if you prefer, you may mail your pet's prescription to us at:

Most customers receive packages within a few days, however, please note that if there is a prescription medication in your order, it may take 7-10 days for you to receive your package. This time will vary depending on how soon your veterinarian authorizes your pet's medication.

4. Will I need to provide my pet's medical information?
For prescription medications, we are required by law to know your pet's medical issues, weight, breed, and age as it is required to ensure safety in dispensing medications for your pet. For over-the-counter (non-prescription) items, it is optional to give us your pet's medical information, but for some products we will at least need to know your pet's weight and type to make sure your pet receives the right product. But, keep in mind that the more we know about your pet, the better we can suggest the right products to meet your pet's needs.

5. What if I find a product somewhere else for less money?
If you find a lower price on an identical product (including shipping) we will meet or beat any price at the time of order as long as the product is FDA/EPA-approved for sale in the United States.

6. Does 1-800-PetMeds offer a product guarantee?
