Buyer beware. The ingredient list on the website does not match the ingredient list on the label. My dog is sensitive to yeast and I couldn't believe it when I found this online and it did not contain yeast because I have been searching for a long time for a yeast free multivitamin. Much to my dismay, when I received the vitamins, I checked the label and sure enough, there is yeast in it. In fact, the label on the bottle is quite different than the ingredient list posted on this website. To their credit, 1800petmeds makes it very easy to make returns. However, the website hasn't been corrected as of this writing.
My 2 year old husky won't eat them. She licks them and leaves them on the floor. My 5 month old pit loves these vitamins. He comes running every time he hears the bottle rattle. He thinks they're treats. I credit these vitamins with his improved skin condition. He had really sensitive skin and was always scratching and chewing. Over the last month of taking the vitamins, his hot spots are clear. He is also very calm and relaxed throughout the day. With a proper diet and plenty of exercise, he's maintaining a healthy weight and the VitaChews are giving him better health overall. Thanks!
I've never had a problem getting my dog to take his vitachews but was a little discouraged when I recieved the bottle and saw the first ingredient listed was corn syrup :( my pup is at a good weight, but I'd be weary of giving these to a dog with weight issues.
My 10 yr old FoxiePoo (20#) had been gradually slowing down. Within 1 WEEK we saw a notable change! I've got my Pepper back again! (At first she ate them right away. Now I have to talk her into eating them). I may try the soft chews if the vitamin/mineral amounts are the same. Will not go a day without them. Thank you for VitaChews
Super VitaChews is the most complete and healthy multivitamin on the market today. They are ideal for all dogs, but are especially beneficial for mature and aging dogs because each tablet is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Super VitaChews is actually a combination of water soluble and fat soluble vitamins. The fat soluble vitamins included in the formula are vitamin E, vitamin D and Vitamin A.
I have 2 small dogs under 10 lbs who love these, but it's hard on the mommy trying to break them in half! If they were scored in the middle it would be helpful!
