What is Vet Solutions Aloe & Oatmeal Shampoo?

Vet Solutions Aloe & Oatmeal Shampoo is a soothing soap-free shampoo with moisturizers for normal, sensitive, or dry skin. It’s used for general bathing and grooming.

Clean Kiddos My wife & I wash our 85lb boxer as well as our 11 lb miniature dashund with this shampoo. Our "little guy" has skin problems @ times, and this is perfect for him. Our boxer has nothing wrong and this is used as his normal shampoo. The shampoo does what it's supposed to do for the little guy, and leaves them both with a clean smell without the added fragrances. Wonderful Shampoo for dry skin!! I have a small Bichon Frise dog, he has very sensitive and itching skin. We tried so many different brand shampoo for him and finally found Vet Solutions Aloe & Oatmeal Shampoo works for him. we've been use this shampoo for him in past three years and he doesn't have itching skin problem since then even he take bath once a week. 11/13/2011

This shampoo is amazing! When I got my pit bull puppy he was itching a lot and had dry skin. I was feeding him good quality food that was free of corn and grains so I knew his food wasn't to blame. I tried this Vet Solutions shampoo based on user reviews. The shampoo is great. People compliment my dog on his soft fur. After two or three baths his itchy skin resolved. It smells great, and a little goes a long way. I've had the bottle for 6 months and it's just now starting to get low (he has short fur).. I noticed a few people that didn't have the same results. I suggest they take a look at their dog food. A lot of commercial brands have corn meal as one of the top ingredients. Most dogs are allergic to corn. So far I've never had a problem with this product and yes it does smell GREAT. 03/13/2011

Great Shampoo for Dry Skin dogs We've been use Vet Solutions Aloe & Oatmeal Shampoo for our little Bichon Frise for a year. It works great even we wash him every week. His coat looks white and healthy, and his skin is not dry at all. 10/04/2010

Looking Good! After trying several shampoos, I find Vet Solutions Aloe & Oatmeal Shampoo to be one of the best. When you wash your pet frequently, as I do, you need something that will clean and be gentle at the same time. Add to that, the wonderful smell your pet has after her bath! 08/30/2010

Does this Shampoo Expire?

I am an Ex Groomer, And have had a Gallon Jug of this shampoo for about 5 Years since I retired, I recently went to use the Shampoo and it smells like a mixture between Tar and Sulfer? Is this Possible?

Safe to use when dog has mange?

My 9 month old retriever has been diagnosed with demodex mites(mange). He hasn't been responding to treatment so i need to at least get him something to soothe the itching. The vet said to make sure nothing I get has steroids in it, apparently it makes the mites worse. Does this product have any? I've checked but i cant be sure.

Yes, my beagle also had a flare up from demodex mange. It was soooo sad....I used this shampoo along with an oral antibiotic and the mange cleared up after 2 skin scrapes. The hair has grown back nicely and I cont. to use this shampoo because it leaves his coat shiny and soft. The longer you leave the shampoo in his coat the better the result.

my bichon frise has extremely red and itchey skin which even bleeds.

this was recommended by the vet but does not appear to be helping. Is there a better shampoo and conditioner for extreme skin allergies?

Try seba-hex. You need a prescription for it but it works great. My dog breaks out with bumps that turn into bloody itchy scabs ,finally he loses his hair from scratching.This stuff always works on his dry itchy skin.
