Strongid Paste is an equine wormer that removes and controls most common and damaging internal parasites including bloodworms, small strongyles, pinworms, and large roundworms.
For: Horses and foals (over 2 months of age)

My vet, actually prescribed nemex (pyrantel pamoate) for my 3 month old kitten Rex so I'm sure it's ok to use for cats. The dosage will obviously be different, but it worked great for us... = )
I went to the Vet today and the Dr. used Strongid to deworm my 2 kittens. Yes the same Strongid used on horses. So I think it is ok to use on dogs as well.

I was told by my vet that you can use this on cats and dogs you just have to adjust the dosage. I would ask your vet to make sure they feel comfortable with you using it for your dog. I used it with my cat and she is fine.
No, sorry. I know a great dane can feel like a horse sometimes, but it is infact, not a horse. This medication is strictly for horses and may make your dog very sick.
