You can leave your purse or other bags used to carry your personal items at home because this bag comes equipped with multiple pockets to store treats, leashes, your wallet, a shopping list and best of all, it has a cell phone pocket right on the shoulder strap for easy access. Your pet's safety is not a concern when in this carrier, which has two mesh windows on either end for air-flow and visibility, a top-load opening for easy loading and unloading and an interior strap to keep your pet from escaping. For added comfort, the interior has a fleece-lined bottom and unzips to expand an extra three inches for taller pets. In addition, this bag can be used as a car seat due to its built-in loops on the back for securing with a seat belt.

How it works:
The Small Dog Carrier and Bag is great for:
- Running errands - Practical and functional for running errands and shopping excursions.
- Trips to the vet - When your pet is a little anxious the top opening makes loading and unloading stress-free for both you and your pet.
- Car rides - Secure to use as a car seat thanks to the end strap, through which a seat belt slips
- Airplanes - Can be used for airline travel, however for longer plane rides we suggest the 3-in-1 Soft Sided Pet Carrier (but we recommend you always check with your airline about pet requirements).

The Small Dog Carrier and Bag requires no assembly, just simply flip open the nylon front, unzip the top-load opening, place your pet inside, and zip - it's just that easy!
- To use as a car seat, take seat belt and place it through the seat belt straps and buckle seat belt to secure.
- For taller pets, unzip bottom to expand 3 inches.

Good for small animals
I have four cats. My 3 boys are large and I didn't think they would be comfortable in this. My 4th is a girl who weighs under 10 lbs. I used this for her. At first I thought it was going to be too small even for her. Then I found the zipper at the bottom. It made it much roomier for her. It was easier to carry her to the vet in it. I can sling it over my shoulder. I don't like that I can't stick my fingers through a grate and let her rub against them. It comforts her during the car ride. The extra flap on the top seems to be too much for just a ride to the vets. I would probably be good in more crowded situations like traveling in an airport. I like all the extra zippered pockets. I can keep a toy and/or treats in them.
