What is the Resco Pro-Series Large Slicker Brush?

The Resco Pro-Series Large Slicker Brush is a stainless steel bristle brush to easily and effectively remove loose hair from your pet's coat.

Very Effective Had to settle for the large size even though I needed a small size. Please offer it in a smaller size. 05/23/2011

A Real Pet Brush Our cat Sweetpea sees the brush in our hands and she comes running for her grooming. She loves it. Plus, this brush is much easier to handle and is very comfortable to use. We use it in conjunction with flea spray and it works perfectly to get down in Sweetpea's heavy fur. I would recommend this brush for all who want to enjoy grooming their pet again. 07/14/2010

Cat allergic to Slicker Brush!! I have two cats that are allergic to the slicker brush itself. I have been using on one cat for a couple years and he has been getting things on his skin that he itches and itches and then they scab over. Could never figure out what he was allergic to. Then I used the Slicker brush on one of my other cats and low and behold the next day he had the same things on his skin so come to find out the cats are allergic to the Slicker brush itself. I will quit using it altogether now!! It is an excellent product and works wonderfully but my cats are allergic to it!!!! I wonder how many other people have this problem? 06/07/2010

The uglies go bye bye I have Pomeranians and the Slicker brush is terrific for getting through the "ugly" stage before the super double coat comes in! It's effortless, in both directions but you do need to be careful around thinner areas to avoid scraping them. Then they look so much better! Now the "uglies" don't last as long. Good but painful It's very effective at getting out the loose hairs but please please PLEASE remember not to brush the opposite direction! Those little bristles are STAINLESS STEEL and they will go into your pets skin like needles! 04/15/2009

Does it work well for poodles

I have a Bihon and he does not like it. I am not sure if it hurts him or not. His hair is much like poodles. I would love to hear from others on their experiences. I sometimes just wonder if he is trying to get out of the brushing.

The slicker brush is great for removing loose fur and also for removing mats. The combo brush is good for everyday grooming.
