My small to medium, mixed breed dog LOVES his piggy! In fact he loved it so much that once the squeaker & fiber fill came out, he continued to carry around the terry cloth outer part of the pig for weeks until we finally had to throw it away! He always seems to be looking for Piggy, even tho he has plenty of other toys that he does play with. It is too funny! So, we just ordered him another one!!! I highly recommend!
There are only two toys my Mom's 6 year old Bichon, Cooper, will play with, his Bear and his Piggie. When we first got Cooper, at 6 mos. old, he came with a Bear, but soon it was beyond repair and I replaced it. I then got him Piggie, which he played with constantly. Whenever anyone said 'where's Piggie?' he would run to find his 'friend'. When he was sick he only wanted Bear and Piggie near him. I have now replaced Piggie 3 times, which is FINE! These toys are meant to last forever, but they do stand up to a lot of wear, and they are tremendous fun. Especially for little to medium dogs. I will continue to replace Cooper's Piggie as long as it is needed and as long as Pet Meds carries it! Thanks!
Received this toy today and was so excited about it. The actual toy is about 3 inches in height. VERY small for my 90 lb golden retreiver. The description states that this toy is good for dog of all sizes however my dog could easily swallow this whole. Great for very small dogs.
Dog loved the pig to death in less than 3 days. Instantly became her favorite, now she's depressed we took it away because she had dug out half the stuffing. Great toy - lousy durability.
