Rated 5 out of 5 by from Max stands up to a terrier! Max is my Harry's favorite toy! Harry is a Yorkshire Terrier/Silky mix and when Max arrived in the mail I did not imagine he would survive more than a day or two. Harry did remove Max's felt eyes almost immediately, as he does with any toy, but Max continues to squeak and has all of his legs, ears, and tail. Harry knows Max's name and retrieves him from his toy box every time I ask him if he wants to play fetch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy! I bought this toy for my dog over 3 yrs ago, but it was in red then. My dog has played with it so much. He luv's it and carries it around. It got 1 little rip but I sowed it with dental floss and it has never come apart since. My dog is 10yrs old and still play's with toys everyday. He even has a toy box filled with toys and this is one of his favorite

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Toy purchased My shih tzu "shorty" Loves Max. We call it his doll. We have had Max for over two years and it is still his favorite toy. It endures laundry and extreme play very well. I am considering purchasing another to have on hand; Just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The toy is the best My PBGV has had so much fun with this toy because of the two squeakers. It is just the right size for him and we spend hours playing with his Max. Am exitedly waiting on his new Chrismas Max. He is going to love it. Yes I have had to do many repairs on Max, but it is still the toy he goes for when its play time

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for big dogs this toy was tore up the same day it came, it should say for small dogs only

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Max Toy We have purchased many things from Pet Meds over the year and been very happy. This toy lasted less than 10 minutes and our pug had the filling pulled out at the seams. She is not usually destructive with toys like her boston terrier sister. I do not recommend this toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't say why, but brings out the pup in Minnie! Memphis Minnie, our five year-old Airedale Terrier, has a basketful of toys. But when we ask, "Where's Dr. Max?," she bolts to wherever she's left him and runs around, squeaking him madly, and tossing him into the air. Maybe because he's soft or because he's just the right size - I can't tell you why this particular toy gives her such pleasure. She has not tried to tear it up (one of her dog pals removed an ear, however), and she takes it to her bed with her. Go figure; like catnip to a cat, it's just her favorite toy!

Is it ok for a beagle puppy?

She is almost six months and VERY playful. She rips apart lots of stuffed toys. But she loves them.
Asked by: ME
our pets rip open most of their toys as well. I have a tip for you; I repair our toys with dental floss. Yes when sewn with dental floss it almost never needs repair at the same repair site again.

stuffing safe if dog swallows it??

How safe is the filling used in the pet dolls?? My Pug/Shitzuh mix, tears them open in seconds...then proceeds to eat the stuffing if I'm not right there with him.... Is the stuffing hazardous? as far as chemicals??
Asked by: maggie
We are very sorry to hear about your worries. As far as chemicals the stuffing does not have any harmful chemicals for your pet. The stuffing though is not safe to eat because it can cause blockage in their intestines. We do suggest to contact your vets office in case of any trouble so they can make sure there is no internal blockage.
