How this product should be used: The suggested initial dose in dogs 5 to 15 lbs is 1/2 chew per day, for dogs 15 to 30 lbs give 1 chew per day, for dogs 31 to 60 lbs give 2 chews per day, for dogs 61 to 100 lbs give 4 chews per day and for dogs over 100 lbs give 5 chews per day. After 4 to 6 weeks a suggested dose for dogs 5 to 30 lbs is reduce to 1/2 chew every other day, for dogs 31 to 60 lbs give 1 chew per day, for dogs 61 to 100 lbs give 2 chews per day and for dogs over 100 lbs give 2 and 1/4 chews per day.

What are the side effects: Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal upset.

What special precautions are there: This product is for animal use only. Consult with your veterinarian before using this product in animals with clotting disorders; being treated with anticoagulant medications; diabetes; or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia; history of urinary tract stones; known allergies to shellfish. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact the veterinarian.
