HomeoPet Anxiety

HOMEOPET
This stuff works great on my 15 lb little terrier mix...who becomes anxious when there is a storm or a lot of wind. A few drops, and she is feeling better within about a 1/2 hour. I see no ill effects from this and she is able to sleep thru a storm without pacing, panting and hyperventilating....which is worrisome to see...she's thirteen years old and I dont think she needs this kind of stress.....so HOMEOPET has been a godsend to me and my little pooch!!! THANKS!!!

Calms most of the time
We've had our 47 lb., 8 year old Lab/shar-pei mix for 5 years now. She was adopted from a local shelter and they had very little background on her, so I believe she was abused and definitely traumatized. Once in a while, out of the blue, she'll get totally off the wall (i.e. panting, shaking and laying on top of us). By adding the drops to her water or if I can calm her enough to eat a dog cookie with the drops on it, she really mellows nicely. The drops work best though as a preventive; if we see she's getting the least bit scary, we add the drops to her food, which works very effectively.

Didn't do a thing.
My greyhound is having problems with separation anxiety and is just as much of a "spaz" with these drops as she is without them. It did nothing to help her with her anxiety.

This product didn't help
I have been putting this in my cat's water for about a month now. It hasn't helped with his anxiety at all.

great product !!
A daily routine and Homeopet Anxiety allowed our Shih Tzu to remain in our house alone with out any accidents. Wish I would have tried this product years ago.

25 Questions · 33 Answers Ask & Answer.Talk to other pet lovers about this product. Q: My 4 year old yellow lab mix gets extremely anxious when we use a flea/tick medication and when he goes to the vet. Will this work on an occasional basis and if so, how far in advance should I give him the dose?AnswersA: Thank you for your recent question. This medication can be used to treat the anxiety your lab is going thru. I would choose to try to start with the medication a week or two before the events. If it works then keep the prep time as is. If not then move the prep time a week at a time earlier until the desired results are seen. Give your furry pal a belly rub from us.A: Use this product three times a day; in the morning, in the evening, and at bedtime. With improvement of symptoms, cut back to twice a day and eventually once a day. Remedy may be discontinued when symptoms are no longer present. Place drops directly into the pet’s mouth or in water that the pet will finish.Q: Ingredients: Chamomilla, Valeriana, Borax, Cypripedium Pub,Ignana A, Colch, Veratrum A. 6c&30c in 20%USP alc. in purified water.I have bought this product in the past and just wanted to know why the ingredients are different as listed on your ingredient tab? I would like to order this product as soon as possible, do to it being storm season. It used to work pretty well, but didn't want to order it if the ingredients weren't the same. Thank you. Is a pharmacist answering this question? Although you have terrific sales staff, I would feel better if I had a response from one of your pharmacists, please. AnswersA: Homeopet currently makes three different kinds of homeopathic anxiety products. These are Anxiety, Travel anxiety or Anxiety TLFN. The product from your veterinarian could be from a different manufacturer and not the same product. If you have purchased the Homeopet brand in the past and it is one of the three we currently sell the manufacturer may have changed the ingredients. Each of the three Homeopet products currently available have similar ingredients but do not match ingredient per ingredient to the bottle provided by your vet.Q: -Where is this manufactured? USA?-Are the ingredients manufactured in the USA? Dear Black Kabnet Productions, Ft. Lauderdale.... You answered my question with: "HomeoPet® is based in Westhampton Beach, New York" I'm not asking where the business is based, but rather where the product/ingredients are manufactured. Domestically? I heard that some of these ingredients (sodium borate in particular) are not as regulated when manufactured in other countries such as India, and could potentially be dangerous due to lower quality standards.
