No fillers, hormones, antibiotics, or byproducts
How it works:
The active ingredients in Happy Hips include glucosamine and chondroitin. Glucosamine is a natural compound that is found in healthy cartilage in both humans and pets. It helps hydrate healthy joints by increasing the production of molecules that bind and hold water in the cartilage. Healthy cartilage provides cushioning which helps protect a pet's joints while exercising. Many believe that it provides clinical benefit in the synovial fluid by strengthening cartilage and aiding glycosaminoglycan synthesis. Further research on the effectiveness of glucosamine is still needed, but many of our customers find it to be very beneficial to their pets.
Cautions:
Diabetic or overweight pets that have problems with glucose tolerance should have their blood sugars monitored if they are given a glucosamine supplement.

Thank you for letting us know this is made in China. I will not eat any food product from China because of lower standards so can not give my pet China made food either
peanut likes the taste , but I've heard bad things about CHINA'S qualiy control. Didn't know where they were made, Will pay a little more for quality assurance
My cat loves the taste of this product. He can't wait every morning until I give him some. The only problem with the product is the dosing. It comes in shreds and the directions say to give one piece for every pound. Well, the shreds are all different sizes so I am not sure what constitutes "one piece". Also I am not sure how effective the product is as I just started giving it to him within the past 3 days.
did anyone have adverse effects to the happy hips with apple? the regular chicken jerky is great, but my dog had a seisure after consuming 2 of them. It's the only time he has had one...so we are afraid something like arsenic could be in the apple? Like they found in apple juice?
