Frontline Top Spot for Cats & Kittens 8 weeks or older:
I found this to work better than 2 other products I've tried in the past. But, my dog is still itching. I don't know if it's from fleas or dry skin. I try to spray the Be Flea Free Spray on her when she's itching but she doesn't always hold still for it. I probably should bathe her more often; perhaps that would help to stop the itching
I purchased this for my 8 month 3 lb toy pomeranian. I am VERY satisfied with the product! It takes care of fleas quickly and you can't beat the price! Great investment!
Have used Frontline Plus for a long top. Purchased a 12 pack of Frontline Top Spot because it was slightly cheaper (not sure about the difference). Ended up giving my six cats two doses each over a 1 month peroid and the fleas did seem to be affected. (?) During this peroid the cats were restricted to in doors. My problem now is if I go back and purchase Frontline Plus, will I experience the same result?
The cat licked the medicine and was foaming at the mouth. He was ok the next day. He is an indoor cat but sometimes will sneak out for 5 or 10 minutes. He never had fleas when we adopted him in 07. So, we have our fingers crossed.
Frontline Plus contains an extra ingredient that Frontline TopSpot does not have. This ingredient in Frontline Plus, s-methoprene, is classified as an insect growth regulator (IGR) and is added to kill flea eggs and flea larvae. Frontline TopSpot does not kill flea eggs and larvae.
Frontline Top Spot for Cats is available in packages of 3 month and 6 month supply. The 6 month supply is at considerable savings over the 3 pack and you can save substantially more by buying a 1 year supply (two 6 packs).
