Expedition Pet Stroller
Storing: Store the pet stroller in a cool and dry area.
Expedition Pet Stroller 12 12
I had to have this stroller replaced due to the seams coming apart. It is suppose to support 150 pounds. The weight of my dog is 84 pounds so this shouldn't have been the reason for the seams pulling apart. I called Petmeds and they sent a replacement, now this one is also doing the same thing. Petmeds is refunding the cost of the stroller. 06/04/2014
Fantastic!!! I ordered the Expedition stroller for large dogs for our large standard poodle Ben who is going on 14 yrs. of age. It has been a godsend! Ben walks until he tires & then he is placed in the Expedition stroller. Ben loves it so much! This is obvious. As an added perk, it is also great exercise for me (age 73) to push him. Living in Maine, we have taken Ben on several treks, including several expeditions to Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, where the gorgeous lighthouse dwells. We love the stroller, including its shock absorbers. Now we'll have this for our younger standards when they become aged. it's worth its weight in gold!!! 09/12/2013
Greatest Investment I have a 10 year old American Pit Bull Terrier who has knee surgery and who has terrible arthritis. Walks are my APBT's most favorite thing, however, over the past two years they have been dwindling down. After purchasing the expedition stroller, we have been able to have more frequent walks. She usually starts off walking, then after a few houses her gait slows down drastically and she goes in the stroller. I walk and she sits comfortably in the stroller with her head popping out of the top. I did put a memory foam pad on the bottom of the stroller to make the ride cushier for her. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an older puppy who still wants to go on walks but physically can't. This stroller has brought me and my APBT so much joy! 08/09/2013
A few months ago I purchased the Pet Expedition for my dog who has had two hip surgeries in the past years and now just had an ACL repair. In the past couple of months I have used this at least twice a day every day. We used to walk 2 miles a day before her surgery and had to cut down to going around the block as that is all she could walk. Now we walk a mile and go to the park and she gets out and runs around and then gets back in her "stroller" and we walk home and she has no pain. Without this stroller my dog would be depressed sitting at home and now she is able to go on walks with her dog brother and she absolutely loves it. I put a small dog bed in to cushion the bottom. One of the very best purchases I have ever made. It is a lifesaver and we love it!!! 07/19/2013
Free at last! My two Bichons had been confined to the house after the 11-yr-old (24 lbs) had surgery to remove bladder stones, and had to refrain from strenuous activity/walking long distances for several weeks afterward, and after the 10-yr-old (14.5 lbs)developed back/hip problems and could no longer tolerate long walks. They both still BEGGED to go on their daily walks, and looked so depressed being stuck in the house -- and I felt so guilty leaving them home every time I went out. I ordered the Expedition stroller from PetMeds, after extensive shopping and pricing all over the internet. It was shipped within 24 hours, and arrived cross-country within a week. I had it out of the box/packing and snapped together -- no tools required! -- yay! -- in 20 minutes -- put it into the back of my Sienna van -- didn't even need to fold it down, but I easily snapped the handlebar into low position to clear the opening of the van, locked the back-wheel brakes, and it stayed put in the back of the van while I was driving -- and off we went to the bay, for a long, glorious walk in the fresh air! I LOVE the design -- low to the ground, with easy access and plenty of ventilation. As another reviewer had noted, the bottom platform doesn't have a lot of padding, but that's remedied easily enough, with a thick towel or blanket. My dogs walk as far as they can tolerate, and then into the stroller they go, and I can continue on for as long as I want, without worrying about having to carry them back to the car. I like being able to unzip and roll up the net "windows," so they can stick their heads out and enjoy the breeze. On the other hand, they zip closed easily and securely when needed. The pouches in back are handy for carrying their water bottle, and my keys, sunglasses, clean-up bags, etc. -- My only suggestion would be to make the pouches bigger. I clip the "Y" section of their two-dog leash to the strap provided inside the stroller, which I then attach to their harnesses when they're riding in the stroller -- just in case they're ever tempted to try to jump out to greet another dog when the "window" is open -- and they still have room to move freely within the stroller and get comfortable. One reviewer, 5'7", mentioned that the handlebar was a bit low, but I'm 5'8" tall, and the handlebar -- even in low position -- is high enough and comfortable for me, with no stooping or bending -- I wonder if that reviewer noticed that the handlebar is ADJUSTABLE, and will raise up for taller people. WE are VERY happy with this purchase! 05/16/2013

I have 5 cats that weight over 10 pounds. My cats are about the size of the 3 dogs in the picture
The stroller looks sturdy enough, but can it be used to take a dog up or down hills without the dog sliding out the front or the back?
What is the floor of the stroller made of? is there enough traction for an older & arthritic dog to hold itself in place while going up or down a hill?
Answer:Thank you for your question. Yes, the stroller is sturdy enough to go up and down hills as needed. The safety features include: a tether leash inside that allows you to hook your own leash to it; front wheel locks that prevent wheels from swiveling on uneven terrain; shock absorbers to maintain a smooth ride.
The description says there is a parent tray with cupholder etc.. The pictures and the video don't show a tray but pockets on the back. Does anyone know if this has a tray besides the pouches? Thank you
