PetMeds Dog Worms 3 is an FDA-approved broad spectrum de-wormer for dogs and puppies. It is the most comprehensive OTC (no prescription required) de-wormer on the market, and is used to safely control and treat the three most common worms in dogs: roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. The chewable tablets are pork liver flavored, and 2 count and 12 count packages are available.
Dogs (12 weeks of age or older and over 6 lbs)
Each Dog Worms 3 chewable tablet contains pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel. Pyrantel pamoate causes the parasite to lose grip of the intestinal wall, which makes it pass out of the system naturally. Praziquantel damages the parasite's skin internally, so the parasite disintegrates and is removed by your dog's immune system.
The safety of Dog Worms 3 in breeding dogs and pregnant bitches has not been determined.
