Composure Liquid MAX is an advanced formula that contains a combination of nutritional factors that reduce certain behavioral problems associated with anxiety. It combines L-theanine, Thiamin (B1), lecithin (from soy), and C3™ (Calming Colostrum Complex), all of which address pet stress. Thiamin (vitamin B1) has been shown to affect the central nervous system, calming and soothing anxious animals. L-theanine has been shown to be helpful in reducing stress and anxiety. Lecithin is calming to the nervous system. The C3™ (Calming Colostrum Complex) is known for its calming effects and works synergistically with the L-theanine also in the formula.

This probably works great for some, but I think we'll stick to the Super Storm Stress. The Composure Liquid didn't seem to work, but I've only been able to try it a couple times. Gid won't even take it on his favorite food, cheese, and I think it is because of the smell. The Storm Stress does not have much of an odor compared to the Composure Liquid, which is very strong. The couple times I was able to try it I basically had to force feed it to him and I don't like doing that when he's already so upset plus it didn't calm him at all. I gave it a Fair mark only because I think two tries might not be enough of a chance to see if it would really do a good job.
my allie is/was so scared to death of thunderstorms. we could not settle her down during a storm and felt so sorry for her nor we will be able to go anywhere if it was going to storm. she even got so bad that if it was just raining out she had a fit. i got on here at petmeds and started to look around for something we could give her to calm her down.( she is also very scared of going to the vets.) so i found the composure liquid. i read some of the reviews and thought i would give it a try. IT WORKS WONDERS!!! my allie is just fine now during storms. she is calm as ever and she sleeps during storms and everything. it seems to last awhile also. we gave some to her last evening and its now morning and she is still fine. and its still storming out!! i recommend this to everyone!!
my daisy may is an aussie and very high strung, i've been trying to find new products to help her durning storms (which have been horrible for our area this year) and fireworks. i tried a collar that was recommended to me at the pet store, but that didn't work. so i tried this. unfortunately this really didn't help either. it may be a wonderful product for some babies, but my baby did not respond. good luck to all trying to find a way to help your little ones through stressful situations!
My dogs were in for a big move from Ark to NJ so I used the composure to keep them calm and it worked great. One of my dogs didn't like the flavor after a while but over all it really helped with the anxiety.
WHEN I GIVE THE CALMING MED TO WILMA SHE GETS SICK & VOMITS. I'VE NOTICED SHE IS MORE NERVOUS. IT'S TIME TO GO TO THE VET, BEFORE I TRY ANYTHING ELSE. THANK YOU

Tina, Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you did not get the desired results from the Composure Liquid. All of our products are unconditionally guaranteed. Please contact us back for a refund. I hope your vet prescribes something effective. If he prescribes a prescription, please check our prices first.
I have a 4+ yr old standard poodle that has epileptic seizures. Grromer & Vet cme to the house. She wants to make up to people that come over but always stays her distance. Would this help "take the edge off" of meeting new people? I really don't want to medicate her with valium if I don't have to. She really stresses.
I'm not sure of your question. Are you asking if this product can be used to control epilepsy? The answer to that is no. It cannot control epilepsy. If you are asking if this could be given to an epileptic dog to control stress without causing an increase in epileptic episodes, the answer is yes.
Composure Liquid is certainly a product for you to consider in controlling your cat's aggression. Another product for you to consider is Comfort Zone with Feliway for Cats. Comfort Zone with Feliway For Cats is a plug-in diffuser that releases a natural comforting facial pheromone produced by cats.
