How it works: Composure Liquid is an advanced formula that contains a combination of nutritional factors that reduce certain behavioral problems associated with anxiety. It combines l-theanine, thiamine (B1), lecithin (from soy), and a calming decapeptide from milk protein hydrolystate, all of which address pet stress. Thiamine (vitamin B1) has been shown to affect the central nervous system, calming and soothing anxious animals. L-theanine has been shown to be helpful in reducing stress and anxiety. Lecithin is calming to the nervous system. The calming decapeptide (F-200® Brand) is isolated from the milk protein casein and is also known for its calming effects.

What is this product used for: Composure Liquid is a calming support supplement for cats and dogs, which is recommended for animals exposed to increased environmental stressors. When pets cannot adapt to stress it can lead to nervousness, hyperactivity, frayed nerves, excess barking, urine marking, repeated paw licking, excessive scratching, shivering, and destructive or aggressive behavior.
Availability: Composure Liquid is a non-prescription (OTC) product.
How this product should be used:
Shake well before each use. For cats, give ¼ teaspoon on food twice a day. For dogs under 25 lbs give ¼ teaspoon on food twice a day. For dogs 26-49 lbs give ½ teaspoon on food twice a day. For dogs 50-75 lbs give ¾ teaspoon on food twice a day and for dogs 76 lbs and over give 1 teaspoon on food twice a day. Each bottle contains 96 ¼ servings.
