I'm happy with this purchase since it's like killing 2 birds with 1 stone: he can eat while having fun. Admittedly, it is a bit loud when they do play with is, but for the enjoyment that my dog gets out of it, I don't mind the noise too much. It's a great way to feed your dog when it's their meal time.
well i bought this and found out its a cube with a hollow inside that dogfood does not even fit in! my dogs always are pleased with the toys on 1-800-pet meds wonder how the one that cost the most money is displeasing!

"Every Dog Should Have This Toy!"
This is the best dog toy that was ever invented! I had reservations when I first got it, because I saw the non-rubber hard plastic and thought, "Oh no, she'll destroy this toy in 5 minutes." But it's one of the few toys she's never destroyed. We've had the toy for over a year now, and our dog, 13 years old now, loves it more than any toy she's ever had. She's played with it for dozens of hours since we bought it. It's great exercise for her, and a great companion for her when we're at work during the day.
In fact, my dog will come to me and poke me with her nose and whine sometimes when the cube is either empty or because it had rolled to a place, like under the coffee table, where she can't reach it (she never cared that much about her other toys).
Sometimes she'll even actually pick the toy up and carry it in her strong jaws to her bed, but she always treats the cube gently, as if she's carrying a puppy, and has never even put so much as a tiny tooth dent in it! She treats this toy lovingly for the special toy that it is.
The toy is so fantastic that I have given it to a couple of dog-owning friends as gifts, and they love it. EVERY DOG SHOULD HAVE ONE.
A couple of suggestions: This toy works best if it's on a rug. It tends to just slide on our tile kitchen floor because it doesn't have any grip-um. Secondly, because dog treats tend to be expensive I recommend using quality dry puppy chow in place of treats.
Oops, my dog wants to play with her cube again--time to go fill it up.
I got this to stimulate my dog who gets board easily. It works great! It's so funny to watch her push this toy around to get the food out. It can be messy because she picks and chooses the kibble she likes and leaves the rest until there's nothing left to eat. I put her on the porch and that takes care of the mess. She loves this toy!
The Buster Food cube holds dry pet food. When your dog rolls the cube, the dry food does spill out, hopefully to be eaten by your dog. If your dog is not eating all the food from the cube, you could adjust the amount of food you put inside the cube.
