So far so good. My lab's coat is back to glossy and soft. Too soon to see about shedding improvements. We live in Maui , so shedding is to be expected. But I am happy that his sensitive digestive tract is better. No more stool issues. I'm keeping my active boy on this supplement.
I could not be happier with this product. I give it to both our Yorkie and our Lab. The lab had red sores on her belly and the vet said " unknown allergies, she"ll need a shot for that each month." EXPENSIVE!! After a lot of research I found Be Well. I have never looked back. A scoop in the morning and she has never had the sores back. We tried an experiment and stopped for a day or two. Sores came right back. Needless to say, we do not run out of Be Well. Both dogs are in excellent health with great coats and no vet bills expect regular check ups.
I am very happy with the be well for dogs. It has helped with Tip and his skin problems. It is the flea medication I am very unhappy with . The dogs and cats still have bad fleas.
I have a Jack Russel that was having problems with itching & chewing the end of his tall all the time. Someone recomended this product to me & it is working great!
Our schnoodle is very fussy when it comes to mealtime. It has to smell and look just right or he won't touch it. We use a mix of wet and dry and sometimes a Frito crushed on top (like I said he is fussy), We tried sprnkling the product on his food. He sniffed and walked away. I took about an ounce of warm water and the tsp of Be Well and mixed it til it looked like a paste. Then I mixed that in his wet food before adding the dry. He Ate It! So far he has been on it for two weeks and it is working. Scratching and shedding less is A+!! Thank you for a wonderful product!!
It should not if you follow the instructions to give small amounts in the beginning and increase to the recommended quantity over a 1 or 2 week period.
I am sure he needs something, since he has some problem with chewing his paw(s), and he gets itchy, but I also don't understand the way a dogs system can handle these huge doses of fat soluble vitamins. I don't want to do more harm than good. He is going to be 7 in March, and other than that is in good health, and active. *the dog is actually half pug, half lhapsa apso, f.y.i.
For dogs up to 20 pounds, you would add 1 teaspon to your dog's food. Because of the high fiber content, start by giving small amounts and increase to the recommended level over one or two weeks.
