How it works:
Arctick for Pets is a spray-on tick treatment for both dogs and cats. If your pet has a tick in his or her coat, you can remove it instantly and easily without worrying about hurting your pet. Once a tick is spotted on your pet, part the hair and spray directly onto the tick. The spray works to immobilize a tick by freezing and killing it so it can no longer transmit fluids to your pet. Once the tick is immobile on your pet's coat, use the plastic tweezers to dislodge the tick and dispose of it. Even though ticks are prevalent in most regions, Arctick can be greatly beneficial to take on camping trips, walking through the woods, or any other place your pet may be susceptible to picking up hitchhiking ticks.
Cautions:
Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors or spray. Inhalation at concentrated levels may cause dizziness. Do Not exceed 3 sprays per area on your pet.

Difficult to use
I found while trying to spray a tick on my sheltie, the small nozzle was difficult to operate and once I got it to work the sound of the spray scared him away. Because of these problems I can't accurately say how this works once applied. I did manage to spray the tick but did see where this helped in it's removal.
