What Makes Go! Natural Canned Cat Food Different?
•
Ingredients fit for human consumption
All ingredients are government certified as "fit for human consumption" status in state of the art, government inspected facilities.
•
Truly all natural
Many cat foods say they are "all natural" yet are not 100% natural. In many cases these foods may have artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.
•
Butcher quality meats
Unlike well-known grocery store brands, we found PetCurean Go! Natural to be one of the very few pet foods to use the highest quality butcher meats.
Most brands use rendered meats filled with by-products.
•
Foods are made in USDA or CFIA inspected facilities
For safety, it is important to have a manufacturing facility that follows the same strict quality assurance standards as used for human foods.

How it works:
Go! Natural offers various formulas developed with veterinarians and certified nutritionists to ensure your cat receives the necessary nutrition needed to maintain an active lifestyle. Go! Natural is slow cooked at low temperatures helping to preserve nutrients, which are typically lost in many commercially processed foods. In addition, after each production run, the manufacturing equipment is cleaned and sanitized to ensure the quality of food is uncompromised.
Both formulas of Go! Natural Grain Free formulas include high levels of meat protein, low carbohydrates and no grains. Grain free meals such as Go! Natural Grain Free Chicken, Turkey & Duck and Freshwater Trout are an ideal meal to feed a cat with food allergies or sensitivities.
In addition, feeding your cat a wet diet can reduce your cat's risk of urinary tract infections. High levels of protein increase the frequency of urination, which helps to break up and eliminate struvite crystals, a common cause of many urinary tract infections in cats.
Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion for up to 3 days. Always provide access to clean, fresh water.
Tip: The amount of food your cat requires will depend on his/her activity level, age, breed, and climate. Speak with your veterinarian to determine an ideal amount of food to feed your cat.

The consistency of this flavor is what prompts me to give it only 3 stars. It is so mushy that my cat can only eat a portion of the serving out of his bowl before it gets worse. The rest gets pushed into, and up the sides and ends up....well you know what cat food looks like after a while. So, since he can't eat it, I can't give it high marks in the other categories. The other flavor is worth 5 stars according to "Thor". I would recommend a seafood/fish flavor with a different consistency. If I know "Thor" he will get tired of just one flavor.

Good for allergies, tastes so-so
My kitty has a grain allergy so we have to be careful what we feed her. My mom got Go! Grain free canned cat food for her, and she does very well on it...has good stuff in it. She didn't go crazy about the taste compared to some other grain-free brands, and the texture to me is a little gross...it's very moist and very loose, but she still eats it and relatively likes it. I'd still definitely recommend this for anyone that has a cat with a similar condition.

This is my cat's favorite
As a foster home, getting a foster animal on a diet of a high quality wet food is important because good nutrition is so important to the overall health of the cat. Many foster cats may come in having only eaten dry food before. But, my foster cats have simply loved this food and have transitioned onto it quite nicely. I usually keep a few different kinds on hand "just in case" for a picky eater, and so far the kitty's like this one the best. They eat the freshwater trout formula. Every kitty is different, but I would definitely recommend that you and your kitty give this one a try.

My boys love it!
I don't understand why this food only got one star. I bought the trout for my 2 boys and they love it! They share a can in the morning and have dry available all day. They both love fish flavors and the texture of this was soft and moist. I will be buying again.

Yuk!!!
My cat would not even lick this food. It had the consistency of dry cement mortar. I threw the unwanted cat food outside for the raccoons and possom (garbage eaters) and it was still on the ground the next day. I finally dug a hole and buried this cat food.

I have a diabetic cat. These were the symptoms that alerted me he had this problem. He was hungry all the time, ate great but was losing weight. Also drinking alot more than usual. I would definitely suggest you have your kittiy's blood sugar tested at your vet's office. God Bless and Best Wishes to you both!!! P.S. Diabetic cats need Hi protein, moderate fat and Very low carbs. AND NO GRAINS OR CEREALS, ESPEC. NO CORN or CORN GLUTEN MEAL!
My 11 year old cat is suffering from severe constipation. Her stools are VERY hard. The doctor has prescribed a stool softener and a low residue diet of canned food. She currently has been eating another brand of food (crude protein 11%, crude fat 5%, moisture 78%, ash 3%, taurine .85%.) In reading the ingredients on the can I found them to be almost exactly the same as the low residue food he sent home with me, but that my cat refused to eat. So, 1) is your food low residue? 2) what consistency is it? and 3) is it possible to purchase just one can or two to see if she will eat it?
In terms of constipation this can be a tricky situation to deal with in a cat. The low residue food has specific fiber sources to deal with this issue, and you are best to stick with what works
I feed the Go Grain Free Fresh Water Trout formula to my cats and can tell you that, looking at the can right now, taurine is listed in the ingredients. There is no specific percentage or number given as to how much there is, but it is the 3rd to last ingredient.
