Learn about fleas

Learn about fleas

Fleas are the most common external parasite found on dogs. Once fleas have infested a host, they begin feeding on your dog's blood almost immediately and can cause itchy, painful skin conditions.

Female fleas begin laying eggs about 24 hours after feeding begins. These eggs will fall off and land in the dog's environment. The eggs eventually become adult fleas that are ready to find a new host and begin the lifecycle all over again.

Ending infestations is a long and difficult process. But preventing them can be done easily in one beef-flavored dose. One chew a month will kill adult fleas before they have a chance to reproduce.

What are the signs of ticks on dogs?

When looking for ticks, you may feel or spot them on your dog’s body underneath their fur. When it first attaches, an adult tick will look like a tiny round bug with eight legs. After feeding, it will swell to look bloated and bluish gray — and it will eventually detach.

NexGard® PLUS (afoxolaner, moxidectin, and pyrantel chewable tablets) kill ticks quickly, all month long. It’s powerful protection in one beef-flavored dose.

What are the signs of ticks on dogs?
Heartworms in dogs

Heartworms in dogs

Heartworms are a type of parasitic worm transmitted by mosquitoes. Heartworm disease has been reported in all 50 states, and all dogs are at risk for the disease.6

A single bite from an infected mosquito is all it takes to give your dog heartworm disease.

NexGard® PLUS chews protect your dog from this harmful parasite.

Roundworms and hookworms in dogs

Roundworms are parasitic worms that can infect dogs in all stages of life. Adult roundworms live in the small intestine and feed off partially digested food and infections are very common in puppies.

Hookworms are thin, microscopic worms that attach to your dog’s intestinal wall and feed off his blood.

NexGard® PLUS chews effectively treat and control roundworms and hookworms.

Up the stock
Don't you think that if your going to put items on sale, you should make sure it is in stock first? Also don't raise the price on the item your putting on sale like nexgard. Anyone can see the price difference especially when you were just shopping for it. Plus the nexgard does not get rid of ticks.

Monthly nexgard plus chews
Karma is doing great. She is hesitant to take this medication, so I have to cut it into small pieces and mix it with her food. She thinks she is getting a treat, so she is taking it in small amounts. Have not figured what the reason for her hesitancy, but this manner of giving her this medication is working OK.

Nexgard plus is the excellent choice !!
I was so worried about my dog eeve Marie because she was scratching like crazy because I knew that it's flea season. I spent so much time constantly bathing her and spent so much money money for numerous flea collars and medicine that didn't work just to relieve my poor baby but it was a waist of time . I then saw a tv advertisement of nexgard plus. I decided to apply eeve For this nexgard plus online to the destrehan animal clinic because I knew that she's in the file. Thankfully the veterinarian approved and I received the flea medication from the mail. As soon as I gave the nexgard plus, everything changed for the best. My eve Marie was itch and scratch free so it's a major relief! Thank you so much nexgard plus and Destrehan veterinary animal clinic for the huge help!! We are forever grateful!:)

Second thing my lab won't eat
I used to buy the separates and thought it was a great idea to put them into one pill. Terrible decision. These are extremely hard by comparison, and my black lab will eat anything except spinach and this. I broke it into pieces and smothered it in peanut butter, it was the only way. I assume it'll be effective so it gets a second star.

Kryptonite
My Basset Hound won't eat it. Calling this a "chew" is very misleading, given that it is as hard as kryptonite. I'm stuck with 6 of these things that are of zero use to me or my dog.

Great product
I’ve had my puppy on this for about 3 months now nothing but positive things to say so far. She has had no side affects from it. She loves the flavor and takes it with no problems! I’ve gotten a new puppy and will be putting her on it this coming month also hoping for the same results with her as she’s a lot smaller. I would recommend this to family and friends it is a great product!

Finally, Nexgard & Heartgard in one chew!
I have a small dog and I'm so glad to see that Nexgard Plus in available so I can give him just one chew. The Heartgard was so big, I had to cut it in quarters, even though the instructions clearly state that it should be chewed whole.
