How it Works:
The Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl has dividers built into the bowl to stop your pet from gulping down food too quickly and potentially getting sick. These dividers make your pet work around the bowl, which slows down their eating process. The rubber bottom keeps the bowl in place, which reduces spilling.

How to use
Directions:
- Just place the Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl on the floor and fill it with your pet's recommended food amount.
- The bottom rim is covered in a thermoplastic rubber so you can place it on tile, linoleum, and wood floors and not worry about it skidding around.
- Avoid overfeeding by reading the pet food label for recommended feeding dosages.
Tip:
The Slow Feed Non-Skid Dog Bowl is only dishwasher safe when it is placed in the top rack.

Works well to slow down speedy eaters
I had purchased one of these bowls from local store a couple years ago. Recently left outside and got chewed up some on the bottom so decided to purchase a couple new ones. Size measurements are deceiving. I ordered large and the bottom measures 10 inches across but the actual bowl only 7 inches. I have golden retrievers and these bowls will not work for them.

So-so... You get what you pay for.
It’s a decent enough bowl and it works well enough for helping your dog to not inhale all their food at once and choke on it. However, it’s definitely not one of the better “bargain” slow-feed bowls. It is priced well.
The non-skid really does not work at all. Instead of rubber footing, as it looks like it may be in the photo, it’s actually just black plastic. The bowl just slides around as much as any other plastic bowl does.
Small note too... Our bowl is white, not blue (as pictured). I did not see anything about varying colors. If color is important to you, don’t trust the photo.

I bought this bowl to slow down my chocolate lab. It worked initially, but she quickly figured it out and started devouring her food quickly. Also,the non-skid doesn't work. She moved the bowl all over the place while trying to eat. There are better slow feed options out there than this bowl.

Really works well
I have a rat terrier that ate so fast she would inevitably start choking. I got this bowl for her and I highly recommend it. She actually wags her tail when she eats now, as it's a game to see which slot her kibble is going to go into next. It does, however, slide all over the floor, so I generally have to hold it with my feet on either side of the bowl to keep it put. Doesn't matter though, what matters is that Cleo no longer has the threat of choking each time she eats.

Waste of money
Made for dogs with long skinny nose. My lab can't get his nose in the bowl & we bought a large. And the nonskid part is a joke!

Slows them down but skids
The dogs looked at me funny when I first fed them with this product. It definitely slowed them from eating to fast. The product works great for that. I have a tile floor and two of the three dogs were chasing their bowls across the kitchen floor.

A great product
My Yorkie ate his food so fast he would immediately get sick. When I saw this bowl at the 1-800-PetMeds site, I knew I had to give it a try. Works really well and has ended my little guys habit of eatting his food so fast. The bowl did tend to slide a little as he ate, but placing it on a small mat solved that problem.
