| Vet Review | A wonderful joint supplement made by the Nutramax company, this newer joint supplement is often considered the next generation cosequin. While it has the glucosamine and chondroitin found in the cosequin product, Dasuquin contains additional joint health promoting ingredients, including avocado/soybean products that have been clinically shown to enhance joint function, especially in those pets with severe arthritis. The only thing I don¿t like about some of the Nutramax products is the inclusion of some dyes and artificial flavorings listed in the ingredients, which as a holistic veterinarian does bother me to some degree. Dasuquin, however performs wonderfully in practice on the toughest cases of arthritis, making it one of my favorite products to reach for. The only other minor negative is the high cost of the product, however I truly believe the price is well worth it with this excellent joint supplement. I give it an overall rating of a 5 out of 5. | Coming soon. |
