Questions

Could this be mixed with liquid (water or oil)

My one cat likes taking things from an eye dropper (...for whatever reason), so could this powder be mixed with water or oil to administer with an eye dropper?
Asked by: Mel
This product is formulated to be mixed with food only. It may be a little too thick to administer with an eye dropper even if it is mixed with water or oil.

Will this product help with hairballs?

Omega 3 is a product in many hairball remedies and is in this product. Can I also use a hairball remedy that includes Omega 3 or will your product help with hairballs as well?
Asked by: Amster
The Missing Link Feline Formula contains 250 mg of Omega 3. Omega 3 helps prevents shedding which causes hairballs. It is safe use a hairball remedy as well. We do have Hairballs Plus for Cats available. Hairball Plus For Cats is loaded with Omega fatty acids, zinc, and biotin, to support skin hydration and resiliency and hair and tissue health. It also contains Psyllium seed husk powder, a soluble fiber, which helps move hairballs through the digestive tract. Why does a feline product have Garlic Powder when a cat's liver cannot process garlic?

My understanding is that garlic, leeks, and onions can poison a cat's liver.
Asked by: tsharpe
You're correct. I don't understand why they would include it, as common knowledge dictates that garlic, onions, chives can damage the liver and even be lethal. I would stick to multivitamins and a good balanced food.
