Q&A

My dog is a rescue dog, got as a puppy. It has been 2 years now and she eats her stools. I have asked the vet what to do, and tried vitamins. Nothing helps. Will probiotics stop this? Help

Asked by: Gammypeggy
This product will not stop your dog from eating her stool. You may want to try FOR-BID: http://www.1800petmeds.com/FOR+BID-prod10475.html?Ntt=eating+pop

What enzymes are best for digestion in an older dog.

I was abused as a puppy and even though I am now 11 years old with a wonderful family I still pass cow patties especially if I get nervous or scared. What kind of enzymes would help me digest my food for better nutrition. Thanks Bambam

Thank you for your question. NaturVet Digestive Enzymes is a great product designed to strengthen the immune system, normalize bowel movements and slows the growth of diease causing bacteria. We also have Be Well for dogs which helps with the nutrition that is lacking from commerical dog food.

My cat is on Science Diet Prescription W/D. Vet said this would help with digestive and diarrhea problems. Very desperate to help her feel better.. Thank you

What dosage is recommended

I have a small dog (10lbs) and not sure how many tablets i'd be giving him, or if they would be too much for him (Not really wanting to quarter tablets to give him the right dosage). Could you recommend how many tablets per lb of dog's weight or per cup of food they eat? meh
Asked by: Anonymous
The recommended amount per the manufacturer's label is 1/2 a tablet for pets up to 20 lbs.
