blood thinner & internal bleeding?

My golden retriever had a 5 lb tumor removed from his spleen (and his spleen removed as well). At first they thought he had hemangiosarcoma, now they said no, it';s a sarcoma but not sure what kind. I'd like to start him on Cell Advance, but have a question about one of the ingredients that acts as a blood thinner. I don't have much medical knowledge, but can the product lead to bleeding? I had another golden with hemangio, and internal bleeding was a problem. I am worried about that, since this tumor seems similar. Thank you.
Asked by: Oliver
Please consult with your veterinarian prior to using the product. This product contains quercetin that has the potential to thin your pet's blood.

What Can i use for kernnel cough?

Asked by: Nick
Kennel Cough is an infection that can be caused by bacteria or virus. In most cases, kennel cough will go away without treatment. However, if the infection is bacterial, it can be treated with antibiotics. If the infection is viral, the symptoms need to run their course. Your veterinarian is your best resource for the prevention and treatment of kennel cough.

Can "Cell Advance" be given to adult cats in lower doses?

Says it's for dogs only. My 9 year old cat has Hepatic Lipidosis (Fatty Liver Disease) and I am trying to treat it. I know of others who have used Methionine, Vitamin B & C, Arginine and Coenzyme Q-10 to treat this. This product has these in it. Thank you.
Asked by: TWise27
Cell Advance is intended for use in dogs only and should not be used in cats. We do have 2 products containing methionine. Methio-Form is a prescription medication and Methigel is available over the counter. Both can be used in cats.

How to make sure that this type of coating won´t stick to my pet´s oral mucose and will make her chocke?

My vet has never trusted much in any vet medicine that comes in capsules because she says the coating can stick on the walls of the gastrointestinal tube and -unlike humans, who´m swallow saliva right away- my pet may not be capable of dealing with it. Your products sounds very apealing, would you give me advise on this subject?
Asked by: gabierre
I've not heard of that occurring. Of course, I am a pharmacist, not a veterinarian, so I don't have the clinical experience your veterinarian has. I can only suggest if you leave water for the pet to drink there should be no problem. There are lots of people giving this product to their pet. Ultimately, however, the decision is yours.

Can this be given to pupies at 6 months of age.

My puppy has papillomas and it is suggested that the immune system is weakened. When the immune system gets stronger the papillomas seem to disappear in many young dogs. So I was wondering if this product is safe for dogs under one year of age.
Asked by: Bebe
Yes. Cell Advance can be given to a dog less than 1 year old.
