Be Fresh Dental Care Solution is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 545.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldnt believe it I was skeptical that this would be effective. However after one week of use - doggie breath was gone and i mean gone. His teeth and gums look better as well. He may still need a dental cleaning but from what i can see-i think this will prevent tartar and plaque from returning. Wish i would have found sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product Been using this for my 7 yr old Yorkie for about 3 yrs. Just had her teeth cleaned and no teeth had to be pulled. Vet said that her teeth were great compared to other Yorkies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works for cats We've been using this additive for years and it has really made a difference in our cats teeth. Vets always comment on how good their teeth look. It doesn't seem to affect the taste of the water at all. Our cats are 1, 6 and 10. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! My Chihuahua Grace has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, and because she is elderly and has this new condition my vet is fearful she would not survive the anesthesia needed to clean her existing teeth. So, he recommended I try a water additive to help control the tartar and bacteria in her mouth. Be Fresh is just the ticket! Grace is a super picky eater and I was afraid she would detect a flavor or odor in her water, but she hasn't got a clue it is in there and the quality of her breath has improved in just a few days! I can't "fix" her but I can provide support for her over-all health and PetMeds is helping me to do that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not only effectively-healthy,...also safe ! I had to add the word 'SAFE' to my 'Review Title', written above, because 1-800-PedMeds sells products that have only healthy ingredients in them, like ' Be Fresh ' Dental Care (liquid). I point to this as a SAFE, HEALTHY issue because the competitors used an unhealthy additive which is BAKING SODA, which becomes 'toxic' to pets when repetitively used.....ACCUMULATIVE reaction from ongoing use. While only a one-time-use of a 'SMALL' dose of BAKING SODA eaten by a pet may not 'OUTWARDLY' show an immediately harmful reaction, it is the ongoing use of products containing BAKING SODA and BAKING POWDER that finally take an unhealthy toll on a pet's liver and kidneys. Unfortunately, the harm may not be visibly apparent until the pet becomes noticeably sick. Pet parents, please check all the ingredients in the items You feed Your pets. Also, check the established lists (Foods, chemicals, and plants) that are 'TOXIC' to pets. You will be surprised over the human-food items that are unfortunately highly toxic to Your pet pal. Keep these lists (found on Internet, and from Your vet) handy, so You can quickly refer to them. I was 'shocked' when I read the lists of foods that were o.k. for humans to consume, but that those same foods and spices are 'poisons' to pets. Oh, and Thank You, 1-800-PetMeds, for this opportunity to register 'feed-backs'. Sharing important information can and does save pets' lives. (Sincerely, dog "Patch's" pet parent, Nancy, in Calif.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dental product! Great product for the price! Very hard to find a good pet dental rinse! Works good on both teeth and fresh breath! Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avoid Teeth Cleaning I have been adding it to Mittens' water, and it seems to work. The vet wanted to clean her teeth, but that is expensive. So I bought Be Fresh Dental Care to see if it cut down on tartar. During the next annual visit the vet did not mention teeth cleaning so I assume her teeth looked better. So I recommend trying it!

need advice..........

I bought this product with great expectations the it would work on my dachsund's bad breath and teeth tarter. She will not drink the water. I even diluted it 3x water to one teaspoon of product. She still won't drink it. My Chihuahua is doing great with it. Any ideas??
Asked by: Anonymous
Your little smart girl may be detecting it in her water. You may want to go back to regular water for a day or so and then try diluting a smaller amount than the recommended dose a day or two later to see if it becomes undetectable. Also, you will be glad to hear about our money back guarantee. We guarantee your complete satisfaction or you get your money back. Hope this helps.

dogs with kidney failure

Is the fresh dental care safe for dogs with kidney failure?
Asked by: Anonymous
I would advise anyone with a pet who has other health issues to check with your vet before using. Our vet had actually recommended using the product on 1 dog who has cardiac issues, (we almost lost her during dental work while under anesthesia).

Do you have anything that will prevent bacteria from forming in a horse watering trough ?

Asked by: Anonymous
It keeps my dog water dishes cleaner with no harm to my dogs. But, you should check with your vet first. May not be good for horses.

Is there an expiration date on the Be Fresh Dental Care Solution?

A friend gave me a bottle of the Be Fresh Dental Care Solution and I was told that she had it for about 3 years. Her pet is gone now and she recently cleaned out her cupboard and came across it and ask if I could use it, but advised me that she has had it for about 3 years. Will it be safe to use?
Asked by: Anonymous
My dental care solution for my dog was originally blue but when I found it was turned into yellow after I bought it from 1800petmed about a year ago. I asked the customer service if the product can be used or there is an expiration date on the product they said there is an expiration date on the product but for some reason mine doesn't have it so I just discarded...

Is adding the Dental Solution to the water bowls once a week sufficient?

I have three indoor cats. We clean their bowls once a week and the rest of the week we just add a little as they drink. We have been adding the Be Fresh Dental Solution to the bowls when we change the water. Is that sufficient?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have 2 small Dogs. Every time I add water to their dish I put in a little bit of Be Fresh Dental Care Solution. My little female especially has terrible bad breath even after having her teeth cleaned. Doing this works for us very well. We give this product an A+.
