Customer Reviews
Apoquel is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only thing that helps my dog! I bought this for my JRT after I've spent so much money at different vets trying to find out what I need to do. Only options I got were steroids and prednisone. Not much help at all. After hearing about how much of a godsend Apoquel was for dogs suffering from severe allergies, I decided to try it. I was pleased! Not only did it stop him from itching, the redness was gone within a day! I only got a 14 day supply, and he's been off of it for a few days now. He's started his itchy fits again. Ordering a month supply soon. The shipping was amazing! Got it the next day and they even threw in a biscuit for Dodge! We love 1800PetMeds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! We started this at the recommendation of our vet after we brought Sweetie, our pit mix, in for a severe skin infection. We had out her on grain free food, tried prednisone, but it didn't help her. She is 7 yrs old and the most energetic we've ever seen her. Apoquel worked within days of her two weeks of double dose and with her one pill a day maintenance. It may be pricey, but so worth to see her happy and belly clear. We even started our other out mix Lucy on it and she has finally stopped constantly licking her paws!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it worked! Our 15 month old pit bull had been itching and covered with hives for 4 months with antihistamines, diet change, prednisone and nothing worked but we tried apical with our veterinarians prescription and it stopped the itching the first day! He has only been on it for 1 week and we will continue it as ordered but we have seen no adverse reactions to it at all. He is back to his happy go lucky playful self and the hives are gone! It works so well that we can tell when the 12 hours is up and he's due for the next dose because the itching comes right back immediately. Highly recommended as we are all sleepy much better now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from maintenance dose is not working my dog is 23.8 lbs. Rx is for 1.5 caps twice a day for 14 days. All scratching gone for the 14 days. maintenance dose Rx is 1.5 once a day. Scratching started at about day 16 and worsened considerably when Rx ran out. I am waiting to hear from my vet as to a more appropriate dose for maintenance, if possible.
