Works great
I have a large pit/American bulldog mix, with sensitive skin and I have seen an improvement since I have been using any of the Omega products, I used the chews, pills, and going to try the liquid. He is less itchy, doesn't shed as much, and his skin is less pinky. Great product

Good for small dogs, yummy
The shelter vet recommended fish oil for our 11 pound dog. We were given a couple weeks supply of the big capsules. This Omega 3 Liquid comes with a dropper applicator, so we can give the right amount for her small weight size. A definite 5 star for taste as our dog will lick the oil from a spoon, so no hassling with administering capsules and the dropper is no-mess. 3 stars for effectiveness for now as our dog is still itchy, but it's only been a couple of weeks. Shipping was on time and the dog enjoyed the complimentary biscuit in the box.

I already have used 2-1/2 bottles in her food and haven't seen any improvement on her skin condition. However, it's obvious she loves its taste.

I have an leer cat with a plethora of issues which he's being treated for. Has lost a lot of weight and skin has always had bad dandruff in the winter. I had been using this for my dog and thought I'd give it a try. HE LOVES IT! I don't want him to get too much so I limit it to a 1/2 to 1 dropperful a day (he has liver issues so I like to limit certain things) well, his dandruff is almost non-exist ant, coat is shiny again and it encourages him to eat. He gets so excited when I bring out the bottle! lol. This is great stuff!!

Shiny coat; no hairballs!
My cats had various issues; 3 of 4 are longhaired, and they were shedding like mad, wheezing and coughing on occasion (especially when the heat came on in the fall), throwing up hairballs, and itching/scratching far too much (no fleas!). No amount of grooming with a brush seemed to alleviate this. The Omega 3 liquid mixed well into their wet food -- while it took a while for them to adjust to the taste -- made a huge difference in all their symptoms. And their coats are like *silk* now (a bonus for the petters in their lives!). (A humidifier also helped with all the above, btw.)

Results good, careful of dosage...
Results of Super Pure Omega 3 Liquid were fairly fast and good. However.....need to be careful of amount given......my 5 lb chihuahua was given the recommended 0.5ml and had a VERY upset stomach for several days. I reduced the amount to 5-6 drops in her food and her upset stomach subsided. She also DOES NOT like the taste. It seems to have a mild fishy smell which made my dog reluctant to eat at first altho she did get used to the taste eventually.
Results were visible in about a week......she was much less itchy and coat became smooth and less hair falling out. I think overall its a good product.....but just have to be careful w dosage......so I'm giving this a 3 star review......

Fast results for foster puppies.
I foster puppies who come from harsh conditions, neglect , and malnutrition. I have a little mix breed girl who had a dandruff like condition. After ten days of this fish oil supplement , her skin had completely healed.

Dry Skin
I have Shih Tzu who is 8 years old with very bad dry skin. Went too the vet get it treated but it seems it didn't work. Really can keep spending money get him treated. Is there anything I can give him at home. He lost hair from this.
I need something where I can put in his food.

with mine (he is over 15). He was diagnosed
with a thyroid problem and I think the dry skin is
related. Have your dog checked out to see if it
has any problems as well. I'm feeding him food
with extra Omega 3 (liquid form) to try to give his
skin more moisture (am ordering Super Pure
Omega 3 liquid from PetMeds now) so you might
try this as well. If I get no results, I'll be taking him
to a veterinarian dermatologist. Hoper this may
help you out!

Will this help with my cats hairball problem?
She doesn't have a serious hairball problem but at times she crouches down and begins to wheeze. Sometimes she even throws up. Most reviews are for healthy skin and fur but does it actually help with hairballs!?

Is this product safe for cats with fish allergies?
My cat has a food allergy to fish.
I've read on a pet health website that in many fish oil supplements the allergic proteins have been removed in the filtering and refining process.
Is this the case with this product?
