Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties are a convenient way to give your dog the benefits of a raw, natural diet. In the wild, your pet's diet would naturally consist of 90-95% meat, nutrient-rich organ meats and bone. Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties are made of exactly that, plus 100% organic fruits and vegetables for wholesome, well-rounded nutrition. The freeze-drying process removes the water content without cooking, so vital nutrients and rich flavor remain in a shelf stable form. They can be fed to your dog as-is or rehydrated with water for a softer meal.

How it works:
Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties are 90-95% raw meat, organ and bone patties that undergo a 20-hour freeze-drying process, which transforms them into shelf stable meals. The patties may be served in the freeze-dried form or broken up and mixed with warm water for a soft, flavorful meal.
Cautions:
When switching your pet over to Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties, it is important to transition slowly by mixing the new food with your pet's regular food in gradually increasing increments over 10 days. As with any raw food, proper handling is essential. Any food not eaten within 30 minutes of offering should be discarded. Wash your pet's food bowl with soap and hot water after every feeding.
Directions:
- Serve as is or rehydrate by adding warm water. When feeding dry, always make sure your dog drinks ample fresh water at mealtime.
- If your dog does not drink plenty of water at mealtime, rehydrating is recommended.
- To rehydrate, crumble and add ¼ cup of water for every two patties.
Tip:
Transitioning your pet to Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties - A slow changeover is recommended so that your pet's digestive system can adjust to the new diet. Begin with a mixture of 25% of Stella & Chewy's and 75% of the old diet days 1-3. Increase to a 50/50% diet from days 4-6. Increase to a mixture of 75% Stella & Chewy's and 25% old diet on days 7-9. By day 10, you can switch to 100% Stella & Chewy's. Your pet might experience some digestive issues during this transition period. This is completely normal and will pass.
