Pet Gear Travel System Pet Car Booster Seat & Bed

The sides of the XL are 17" high but how high is the cushion? Is this a booster or the same height as the car seat?

While the seat cushion is a nice, firm, but coated with soft cover for my dog, the height / thickness of the foam needs to be higher so my dog can see out the window without having to stand up as he does without his seat. He likes to snuggle in his bed / car carrier. I have to say, I had to order the XL size, and it takes up a lot of room in the back seat of my RAV4 suv. Basically takes the place of 1 1/2 people. I use it if/ when we don't have too many others to transport. The seat belt loops give you option to install length or width wise in car. They are sturdy as are the D Rings. Just wish the interior padding was thicker so the pets could be raised higher to see out without struggle.

Thank you for your question. The medium size is 7.5in in heigh and the extra large is 17.5in in height.

My dog is 70 lbs will he fit in the XL seat?

Pet gear travel system pet car booster seat and bed

My dog is a Lab/Shiba Inu mix she is considered medium size 50 lbs dog. Will she fit comfortably in this booster/bed? If not can I return it?

We would suggest to use the large size for your furry pal if they weigh about 50lbs. Yes this product can be returned if needed.
