How it Works:
The durable, waterproof backing keeps dirt and stains at bay, while the hammock shape helps keeps your pet from entering the front console area. Simply attach and adjust the straps to the rear and front headrests to hold the seat cover in place.
Cautions:
Always make sure the vehicle seat is dry before installing the Solvit Waterproof Hammock Seat cover.
Directions:
- The cover attaches to the front and rear headrests.
- Lay the cover in place on the rear seat and choose the grommet positions that match the location of each headrest.
- Fasten the cover to the rear headrests first. Loop each strap around the headrest and attach it to the grommets on the seat cover. Adjust the length of each strap for a better fit.
- Locate the two plastic tubes on the underside of the seat cover. Push the tube into the car seat crevice to firmly hold the seat cover in place. The tubes can be removed with a strong tug.
- The cover includes two side vents which can be opened or closed by means of hook and loop tape. For narrower vehicles, the fit will be improved by leaving the vents open.
• The cover also includes two oversized slits that allow seat belt buckles to pass through. For your pet's comfort, we suggest stowing the buckles under the cover when not in use. - The seat cover can be machine washed in a commercial size front loading washing machine. Wash with cold water with a mild detergent and line dry.
Tip:
Clean up messes with a damp cloth or sponge.

I want to know if this will slide around in my car.
Thank you for your question. No, this will not slide around the backseat as it has to be hooked to the head rests and two tubes hold it in place underneath the cover by being placed inbetween seats.

Durability question.
Have an 85-lb yellow Lab with sturdy toenails and a car with leather seats. She is not a mellow passenger. How durable is the hammock?

This can not be used with a passanger in the back seat.

Rear seat head rest would be needed to keep the back of the cover up.
