How it works:

Holistic Select Radiant Adult Health Anchovy, Sardine & Salmon Meal Dry Dog Food is beneficial for dogs with allergies or digestive issues. It is free of any poultry, beef and corn and uses easy to digest low-allergenic grains and probiotics to promote healthy digestion. The main grains are rice and oatmeal which are good sources of carbohydrates and add to the protein dogs get from the fish meal. The omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids come from not only the main ingredients of anchovy, sardine and salmon, but also from the added menhaden oil and flaxseed, which are beneficial in maintaining and promoting healthy skin and coat.

Directions:

Feed to adult dogs that may have grain allergies or digestive issues.
Add 1/2 cup of food per every 10 lbs if your dog weighs over 100 lbs.
If mixing with wet food, reduce the amount of dry food being used by 1/3 cup for every 6.5 oz of wet food.

Food Allergies

My dog is on a diet of "dry dog food" which contains fish and sweetpotatoes. My vet said he is allergic to many proteins. Could I get the anchovy, fish dr dog food that you sell? The brand I currently buy is ROYAL CANINE and I am told I can only get this food from the vet. (very expensive)

Is grains in dog food the same as gluten?

No there are alot of unhealthy grains. but the main grains are rice and oatmeal which are good sources of carbohydrates that are in this dog food.Gluten is the result of two proteins, gliadin and glutenin. Gluten is found in all forms of wheat. :)
