What is Pet Bike Basket 3-in-1?
The Pet Bike Basket 3-in-1 is the ultimate pet accessory. You can use it as a carrier, secure it inside your vehicle as a car seat, and attach it to the front of a bike as a basket. All three uses make it effortless to take your pet just about anywhere. The Pet Bike Basket 3-in-1 is available in two weight limits (12 lbs. or 16 lbs.) and comes in 7 different colors.

The Pet Bike Basket is for pets only.
Directions:
- To attach carrying strap, clip each end of the carrying strap to the two metal rings.
- To use as a car seat: Take seat belt and place it through the seat belt straps on the 3-in-1 and buckle seat belt to secure.
- To use as a booster: Complete the previous step, then attach carrying strap around headrest and adjust to a secure position.
- First unscrew the bolts and nuts so that both handlebar mounting brackets are disconnected from the bike attachment. Put the mounting brackets on the handlebar of your bike so that the extension parts are facing forward.
- Next, you have to connect the bike attachment to the mounting brackets. Take bike attachment and slide one extension of both handlebar mounting brackets into the top slots while sliding the other extension underneath the second slots of the bike attachment. Once the extensions are in place, put bolts through the extensions and tighten with both fastening nuts. Make sure attachment is straight and even.
- You may need to tighten swing arm screws with a Phillips screwdriver to fit swing arm to your handlebar stem/steering column so that it is tight and stable. After you tighten the 2 swing arm screws, take the 2 plastic caps/plugs (found in the instruction booklet packaging) and push them into place over the 2 swing arm screws.
- Once the universal bike attachment is connected and fully secured to the bike, the bike basket is now ready to be attached. Put bike basket in the front of the bike so the handle clip is above the insertion slot. Once handle clip and insertion slot are aligned, push the handle clip down into the insertion slot.
- Connect carrying strap to one of the side metal rings (located on each side of The 3-in-1Bike Basket). Then, put the strap through one side of the seat belt straps. Next, bring the strap around handlebar stem and put through the other seat belt strap. Attach strap to other metal ring on other side. Tighten strap so there is as little slack as possible.
Tip:
Not intended to be used as a restraining device for aggressive or dangerous pets that dig, chew or paw aggressively.

Great Product
We used this for our 5 lbs. Chihuahua after she went blind. Easy to attach (2 clips), carries all the extras (water, plastic bags, rain cover, leash, safety leash so they can't jump out, carry handles, etc...#.
Took a couple of rides for her to settle down #blind dog) but after that she loved going for rides.
Anyone that says it doesn't work is possibly not setting it up properly.

The swing arm needs to be about 1.5 to 2 inches longer to work. Once 8 lb dog was in basket, the basket went all the way down to the bike wheel and rubbed against the wheel.

Did not sit level
Nice idea. I did not like how the opening scouped down. Not secure enough and it did nt sit level on my bike. My 5 pound Chihuahua was sliding toward that scoup and was not comfortable.

Great bike seat
Easy to use and attatch my daughter made hers (she was 11) and I held her 8 pound dog. But we only use it for a bike basket. She uses the pockets and it is very easy to take off.

Pet Bike Basket
I bought this basket to carry my young Brussel Griffon with me on my bike rides. I quickly discovered that the bracket that came with the basket wouldn't support my lb dog. Not to give up on the idea of riding with my dog, I used some strong bungi cords to help support the unit. It worked but was difficult to control the bike if the dog moved around. I would not recommend this carried to anyone. It prove to be very dangerous for my friend who also bought this one. He lost control of his bike when the dog moved around at an inopportune time. Going down steep grade. He lost control of his bike and went over the handle bars did a face plant on the concrete and lost a tooth. BE Aware of this product.

Great as a carrier and car seat !!
Moggie really feels secure in this product. I have not used it on my bike though, since I don't take Moggie outside. But it is sturdy and very easy to handle. It is also great to use when taking Moggie to the vet.

What keeps the carrier off the tire?
This product comes with a bracket which will be attached to the handle bar and keeps the carrier off the tire with a metal harness.

Yes A hard plastic bottom, a tiny bit flimsy

how secure is it?
i have a 16 pound shitzu. He is kinda nervous. i just want to meke sure the basket would not be wobbly
Charo, good question. The basket is very secure, but any bike ride is wobbly and bumpy, so use caution with a nervous pet.
