These helped my dog live to be 18!!!!
I highly recommend these! I tell everyone about them. I stared giving my girl super vita chews when she started crying when she jumped down (cuz she hurt) about 8 years ago. Had to switch to the soft chews because she didn't have many teeth! I was also upset when they changed the formula and they came very hard! I solved the problem but keeping a piece of fresh bread in the bag...which made them soft enough for her. I recently lost my old girl to cancer and miss her terribly. =....(

Rock hard but I solved - now great!
The product is fantastic and I love them. I have an increased energy level and gained weight quickly when my mommy fed me these...I was starving prior to being rescued. Just as the other reviews state, these little bites came in hard as a brick and the more times the bag was opened the worse they got. Mommy says it's not a formula problem. It's a moisture problem and here's how to fix it......Add a very moist, but not dripping, cotton ball into the bag, seal, and let it sit overnight. The next day you may have to re-wet the cotton ball again depending on how dried out they were. Voila' perfect moist treats again that I chew with ease. Enjoy, Evie

Chewy?
My dog just loved these but they became hard as a rock and he can no longer even chew them. Great product other than this issue. If the product would stay soft, I would buy again but for now, I'll try another product.

Good supplement to my home made dog food.
I have used VitaChews for over two years and am pleased with the results- healthy skin, soft hair, helps with Aggie's skip hips.
The last order I received in December was not chewy- hard as a rock. When I called to return them and order new ones, there was no problem. I received a call from customer service who informed me the company had changed its formula and any new ones they sent would also not be chewy. Recommemded I wait until end of February since the company was going to make new changes to ensure its "chewiness". I called today and the changes have been made, so I ordered more.

great for small dogs
Gizmo is only 7 pounds and those tiny jaws just couldn't crunch the hard tabs. He loves these. I give him one as a treat before I leave for work. Since beginning this product he has a very thick glossy coat. He is sassy and full of spunk. I'm so glad to give him something that works and that he likes. A winner here.

Great Product!
My yorkie poo is a very finicky eater with dog snacks and dog food, so I was very hesitant ordering this product at first. But to my surprise my dog really liked them after the very first time I gave him one. He thinks they are snacks and looks forward to getting one each morning. Now I can feel good knowing he's getting all of his vitamins to keep him healthy and that he really likes them as well.

Hard as rocks
I have been ordering these for a couple of years now to ensure my senior dog is getting all the vitamins and minerals he needs. The last order I received contained vitamins that were literally as hard as rocks. I couldn't even break them into pieces to put in my dog's food. The previous vitamins I've received have always been extremely soft and easy for him to chew. The company has been good to deal with - sending me three replacement shipments. Every one of the three shipments has contained the same hard as rocks vitamins. After 3 strikes I requested a refund. Something has definitely gone wrong with this product.

Disappointing
The first time that I purchased this, I was pleased. The dogs enjoyed the taste, and I used it as a pre-dinner treat. The second time, I received a bag full of crumbs. The company was very nice, and replaced them, but the third time, it was a pouch full of crumbs again.
I didn't notice any difference in my dogs's health.

Hi there, we do have a vitamin in a powder form it is RX Vitamins Onco Support Powder & Supplement. In addition we do have a great gel. its is called Nutri-Cal, it is a high caloric/ vitamin supplement too

Treats and vitamins
My dog Rosie was just diagnosed with Diabetes, I was wondering what kind of treats or vitamins would be good for her if any.
We use vetsilen insulin I've read some bad things about it.

Can Soft Vita Chews for dogs be given along with Saloxine?
My 9 yr old Scottish Terrier takes 2 Saloxine tablets (0l3mg) each day for hypothyroidism. .She currently also takes one daily vitamin which is a large hard tablet (not from PetMeds). I want to switch her to your Soft Vita Chew and need to know if it would conflict with the Saloxine.

I would, however, recommend you to speak with your vet regarding any treats/foods you plan to feed him/her. Dogs with pancreatitis have protein and fat intake limits as it requires the pancreas to work harder. Hope this helps!
