Helped with my dog's rehab
My Golden Retriever had a third surgery to remove an implant hip replacement that went badly. His femur suffered significant damage from this problem so I had to find something to help rebuild his damaged femur. Since I've started him on this supplement, his femur has strengthened and improved.

life saver
i have a 3 year old beagle that had puppies, they were a week old when she became sick. she fell to the ground one night and gasping for air, her body was stiff. no warning, other than her just being tired. i have never seen a dog suffer like she did. she died 3 times while getting her to the vet. my husband revived her. the vet said she has a calcium deff. he gave her shots and i.v. that night. sent her home with osteo-form. the difference in her is a miracle. she is healthy again.

Does the trick
Our "Heinz 57" dog was badly hit by a car. She is normally about 58 pounds, a good 'medium' sized dog. In the accident, her pelvis was fractured and her hip dislocated with the hip socket "all but shattered". We bought these in the hopes that she would heal without losing the leg.
Priscilla does NOT like any pet-chew tablets, no matter how 'good' they taste. These are no exception, so I've given 3 stars on the taste. I'm glad these are small enough to get down her throat to make her swallow.
However, she is healing very, very well since the accident. Our vet is impressed with her recovery. I'm glad I bought these and would definitely recommend them to anyone else who's pet has suffered bone injury.

Growing Puppy
I recently purchased an English Mastiff for my wife for our 5th anniversary. Our breeder suggested giving them to our Meemii for the next few months. The vet said that it aids in their grown and helps their bones get stronger. Meemii eats them right up with no problem.

Calcium for Nursing dogs
My vet told me that when Gracie had her puppies she needed to be on a good calcium supplement. So before she had her 3 beautiful baby girls, I looked on 1-800PetMeds and found this product at a very resonable price and appeared to be just what I was looking for. The meds. arrived very quickly, 2 weeks later I have 3 very healthy and plump puppies. Thanx for the service and saving me lots of money on an office visit!!!

Dosage on osteo form
Instructions say to give 1- 2 tab for each 11 lbs of animal
so if I have a 100 lb dog I would need to give at least 9 tablets daily , that would mean I would be giving the dog 5400 mg of Calcium a day.
Isn't that way too much ?

Can we combine with another supplement?
I've switched our 53lb dog over to a natural home cooked diet after years of eating HIlls Scient Diet and no longer being interested in the kibble. We have began her on the Super Pure Omega 3 daily pills. She also takes a daily dose of Glucoasamine/Chondroitin tablet. I'm concerned about her Calcium levels after reading about the switch to natural foods. It is safe to give her a daily vitamin chewable combined with these other daily pills/tablets that she is already taking?

can i give osteo-form together with nutri-cal ?
My 3yr old dog had 2 Puppys and is very skinny she's taking osteo form but needs extra calories
They are different supplements so that would not be a problem. The Nutri-cal would definitely help add extra caloric intake and vitamins to your Skinny Furry Friend! :)
