What is this product used for:
This product is used for the relief of coughs in cats and dogs frequently associated with a stay in a kennel and/or exposure to other animals.
Availability:
Cough Relief is a non-prescription (OTC) product.
How this product should be used:
Use this product three times a day in the morning, in the evening, and at bedtime. Place directly into the mouth or in water that the pet will finish. For pets less than 20 lbs give 5 drops, for pets 20 to 100 lbs give 10 drops and for pets over 100 lbs give 15 drops.
What are the side effects:
There are no reported side effects.
What special precautions are there:
Contact a veterinarian if the problem persists.

How should I store this product:
Store at room temperature. Keep out of the reach of children.
Directions:
- HomeoPet Cough is used in dogs and cats for the relief of cough often associated with a stay in a kennel and/or exposure to other animals.
- Contact your veterinarian if the cough persists.
Tip:
Use this product three times a day; in the morning, in the evening, and at bedtime. With improvement of symptoms, cut back to twice a day and eventually once a day. Remedy may be discontinued when symptoms are no longer present. Place drops directly into the pet's mouth or in water that the pet will finish.

wonderful a must have for dogs with heart problems
i love this product it helped my little chihuahua jasmine out wonderful. she doesn't cough like she did with the expensive stuff from the vets office. she has a bad heart and a collapse trachea. i'm glad she has relief from the coughing. i know how much that has to hurt. thanks for this product i will buy more from you soon.

brownie my dog had a cough everytime that he would come out of the air condition room and into the heat where there was no ac so I bought this homeopathic medicine for him and so far it has helped him his cough isn"t chronic cause if it was I would have taken him to the vet anyway I just wanted to let you guys know.

Good Results-Yorkie
Good result for our 10 lb Yorkie. Three drops in a "pub cheese chaser", once a day has eliminated a fairly chronic cough. "Bear" has been diagnosed as having some congenital windpipe condition, alleged to be fairly common in Yorkies. The drugs prescribed for the condition were about 10X this cost.

Product works well. It worked better the first few times given. As we have progressed it seems to require me to give more often. Will not stop the cough completely.

I have only used this product a week and have to say this product is amazing. It has done wonders for my dog who has a collapsed trachea. I plan on continuing to use this great product.

This product works!!
I have been using HomeoPet Cough for several months and my local supplier had run out so i ordered from PetMeds. My chihuahua, 10 lbs., has a congestive heart condition and her lungs fill with liquid.
She is on three prescriptions from the vet but she still coughed. As soon as I started using HomeoPet Cough, she stopped coughing. At 14 yrs. old, she is peppy, content and not in any discomfort.

Great Cough Remedy!
My Chihuahua has a collapsed trachea and have tried other cough remedies but Homeo-Pet cough medicine is the only product that seems to help. She still has the cough but I've seen a noticeable improvement after two days. Thank You!!!

MDR1
I'm assuming that since HomeoPet Cough Relief is not a drug it would be safe for Australian Shepherds. I have not done the MDR1 test on him yet.
i'm not a vet, but i give this to my small chihuahua female and she does great with this. i use to give her stuff from the vets office and she would still cough from it. now she is so much better i've been giving this to her for over one year now. hope this helps your dog.

dosage of medication
Accidentally gave my 15 pound puppy waaaaaaaaaay more then recommended dosage he was squirming and I squeezed the bottle rather than do drops.. I saw that the "overdose" was not applicable but should I be concerned?!?

The vets office told me my dog has Old Dog Lungs. The vet prescribed Hydronet cough syrup. Is there anything less expensive i can use?
Unfortunately we do not carry any prescribed cough medications. So you would need to consult your vet about a lesser priced alternative.
