How this product should be used:

Slept on the flight
This was a God-send for me traveling with Fozzy (my Red Sable Standard Pom - 15lb male). He is afraid of thunder and the jet engines of the plane were going to be just terrifying if I didn't give him something.
I asked my vet and was really happy to see this as an alternative to a pill. You begin with the minimum dose (like all homeopathy) and add more as needed. It's far better than a one-hit dose (pill) that you wait 30 minutes for and are unsure of how s/he will react to. After 15 minutes, if he needed more, I gave him more. Once he was relaxed enough to nap, I stopped and just let him settle into his carrier and sleep.
It was easy to administer and he woke up from his nap happy - not drowsy like he would on a drug/medication. I even had other passengers on the plane ask me what I gave him to use for their fur-babies.

Excellent product
I bought this for my 13 years old JackRussell. He was suffering from separation anxiety, and it was getting out of control. I made the decision to buy this product base on all the reviews it got, and I am very happy I did. My dog behavior changed after one week of starting him on this medication. Thank You HomeoPet!

First Product That Works!
We have nine house cats (all rescues, all neutered & spayed), including a tom called Tony who's got a little bobcat in him, and a long hair tom called Coco who's always been skittish. When Coco hit adulthood, about a year ago, Tony took exception to him as another male in the house and started piddling at various locations around the house. Scared he was losing ground, Coco ALSO started piddling around the house... not spraying just puddles. Tony would stalk Coco, chasing him under the bed to the point where Coco wouldn't come out of the bedroom at all. We've tried the plug-in pheramone diffusers in every room, sprays to remove urine smells... nothing worked. Finally I bought a bottle of another oral pheramone product and tried giving Tony a few drops twice a day, but he spit it out as fast as I could deliver it. I read on Pet Meds' site that Homeo Anxiety Relief dropped and rubbed around the ears worked for someone, so I ordered a bottle and tried that. That wasn't so successful either, but after I extended the drops to dampen him from the back of his head to his tail, the change was immediately noticeable. His attitude went from "wild boss of the house" to "ready for a quiet day" in a few days. Not so threatened, Coco has come out from under the bed and now plays with his toys again and can even be in the same room with Tony without an altercation. The piddling is all but over.. I'm hoping a little more time will take care of that as they both adopt habits that include each other in the house. So twice a day I put a few drops of the Anxiety Relief in the palm of my hand and then just "pet" Tony from head to tail... every cat is different, but this works for me!

Really Works!
I have always been a believer in homeopathic medication. It has been around in Europe for people for ages. I figured if it is good for people it is good for dogs too. It took abouit a week for it to really start working well. Our dog is getting older and had become very jumpy because he also has cataracs and can no longer see well. The HomeoPet Anxiety Relief has made him calm again so he is no longer jumpy and afraid of everything.

Wonderful Product. No side effects!
One of my older boys, a 13 yr. old Peekapoo, has extreme storm anxiety. This HomeoPet Anxiety Relief has been a lifesaver! When a storm is brewing, I give him 3 small drops, which he does not mind. This allows him to relax somewhat and stay calm enough to hear the thunder but not shake all over (as he normally would react to bad weather with sound). Afterwards, he does not have any residual dopiness, nor stomach issues. I love this product.

Great Product
My aussie mix has severe fear of storms and all fireworks. I bought this as I do not have a lot of money for more expensive options. It works great. She take her drops in water and it has calmed her down a lot. She even sleeps through the storms some now. I am so thankful for this product!

Great Anxiety Relief
I originally bought this for an upcoming plane trip. Tried it on the flight and didn't have much success. My dog wanted to be in control of himself in these surroundings. However, I used it again just the other night (4th of July) and was really impressed at how well it worked. On the 3rd, our dog was a bit jittery and we gave him a dose. On the 4th, we didn't wait for his anxiety, we just gave him a dose about 6 p.m. It was probably the best 4th of July in his little dog life. He was mellow all night long, and woke up the next morning feeling great.

We have neighbors that shoot commercial grade fireworks over our house every 4th of July, New Years Eve and any local sporting group winning a championship. I have 5 dogs in my house and when one becomes anxious, the others feed off of him. We bought the Thundershirt a couple of years ago and although you could see the difference in his temperament, it didn't help with the fireworks. I bought this product with hopes but no expectations. I started giving it to him in the morning and the evening about a week before the 4th. I was completely amazed. His anxiety was not completely gone, but at least he could lay in one place. Usually we are just trying to keep him from hurting himself. This year, he still did the panting that comes with his anxiety and he did go into the bathroom to hide, but unlike previous years. He stayed there. He came out when there was a break in the action, and went back when it started again. As a result., the other dogs in the house were relaxed. I will continue to use this product and suggest others try it as well. Just don't look for perfection and I would suggest you start giving before the event so it has time to take effect..

In the description this was recommended for travel anxiety, however on the homeopet website this one is not the one recommended for travel anxiety.I hope I didn't just waste my money. Why are the dosing directions different on the package?

Anxiety ~Car Rides
My 15 pound Jack Russell shakes terribly when in a car. I would like to use this when we do a ride longer than an hour. I see the directions say 5 drops 3x a day. Would I do this the day of the trip or start the day before if we leave in the AM for an hour trip?
I would just start off with 3 drops about 1 hour before auto trip, and adjust dosage given by his reaction to the trip.

cat carrier woes for cat
I cannot get my cat in the carrier. she turns into the tasmanian devil when I pick her up to put her in it. Now mind you that she plays , and goes in for treats as long as I am sitting down. she is 3 and adopted from humane society 4 weeks ago. wiil this work
Many cats are like this.
Make a game of it - and allow yourself the time to "trick" her into the carrier. If you're in a rush, she'll feel the stress and it makes it worse.
Put treats inside and wait by the carrier, sitting in a chair.
Even better - does your cat like catnip?
If so, it's worth it to buy PetMed's container of it to keep on hand.
Then when it's time to put her in the carrier - crush some nip between your fingers and put it inside the carrier.
Wait for her to go in, then close the door.
After about 10 minutes, she'll be relaxed due to the nip.

How will I know that its working?
I gave by Dog a dose of this medicine and I was wondering how will I know that it's working on him?
It's doubtful that you will see a change with only one dose.
Give it time and make sure to dose your dog as the bottle suggests. I believe you are to dose 3x a day.
We noticed a difference in our cats within 2 days, but thats when giving the appropriate amount of doses.

Ingredients in homeopet anxiety relief
I have an older bottle of Homeopet Anxiety Relief and the main ingredients are camomile and valeriana. The current ingredients listed are totally different. Do you know when the changed?
we now carry different versions of Homeopet. There is a non sedating formulation with chamomilla
among other safe and natural ingredients and also the regular anxiety version that still has

Anxiety relief was accidently used as a human eyedrop? Anything we need to be concerned about?
There is nothing to worry about, as there is nothing in homeopathic remedies but water and marketing.

is it helpful for a dog chewing his legs

Sasha has a licking disorder that gives her lick granulomas. Its a comforting thing for her to do when she is upset. Since I've started using this product, she has stopped licking! I assume it would probably helping with chewing if he is doing it as a comfort thing.

What to do with a dog who give new meaning to "anxiety"?
I have a dog who is so anxiety that she chews up even our doors when she hears gun shots. I've tried drops, anxiety pills, and thunder blanket to no avail. I can't give her away because no one wants to contend with the damage she creates to the house. Even if I put her outside, she chews on the siding trying to get in when she hears a gun shot. I am now considering have her put down... Any suggestions?
