This really helped my dogs itching,I waited too long in between the flee medication and found one flee on him and he got flea dermatitis from that,this stopped the itching and calmed the scratching down to nothing.

Peace of mind
I love this product! Was using Genesis Spray w which is no longer available and concerned with how to keep his skin problem in check. Excel Hydro cortisone Spray was the answer. Will be using from now on.

Amazing, AFFORDABLE Product :~)
I got this for both of my dogs, who are had been CONSTANTLY scratching and biting at their paws, backs (where they can reach) and hind legs due to allergies. I have an allergy medicine, prescribed by the Vet (but also purchased here for about 1/3 of the price of getting it at the Vet!)
I know something like this would have cost $20+ at the Vet, and probably not as effective. I spray ONE spray on each leg or itchy spot and the chewing stops for the rest of the day! We had a very chilly and damp spring and early summer, now we're having a hot and dry summer. Our Mini Poodle was CONSTANTLY biting his legs and back so much that he had bald spots on them! I've had this for about two weeks and those are about gone. No more scratching, biting, licking. QUIET at night!
My only regret is that I didn't use 1-800-PET-MEDS sooner! I was never sure about it, my dogs are my BABIES - I'm disabled and can't do much of anything. Thanks to this spray, we ALL feel better!
Thank you, 1-800-PET-MEDS, for selling QUALITY products to those of us that don't have a lot of money but would still do anything for our Fur Kids! You've made it SO much easier to be able to care for my babies affordably, instead of paying the outrageous prices at the Vet! You've saved me a few hundred dollars already and I'll keep getting everything from you that I can! This Spray has been a God send! And what I would have paid big bucks for at the Vet probably wouldn't have worked as well and as quickly.

Excel Hydrocortisone Spray
I highly recommend this hydrocortisone spray. Myra would not stop chewing her paws, I tried soaking with oatmeal, aloe vera soaks, and that did not last long before she was chewing her paws again. I rub each paw at night with the hydrocortisone and it seems to be doing the trick. There are rough patches on her pads and the hydrocortisone helps soften and heal. We are both much happier.

Finally, something that worked.
Our poor little poodle was itching himself raw. I tried everything I could find, even suggestions from the Vet. Then I saw this spray, and thought, "Why Not?"
I used it just at night and it seemed to help him, so I used it more and he is doing so much better. You have to rub it in really good. It seems to work best right after a bath.

Itchy paws
Kodie must be allergic to something he encounters different times of the year out walking, and licks and bites at his paws, licking enough to take all the fur off of them,,,,,but when I spray the Excel Hydrocortisone Spray on the paws, he stops licking and biting for several hours, and there is healing, the spots are not as read and inflammed, and if I keep up with it, the hair starts growing back faster.

This is a great product
Our poor dog would scratch herself until her skin was red. There were time when she would scratch and she would cry out from the pain she was inflicting on herself. I was bathing her with medicated shampoo prescribed by our vet. we were in odds in what else to do. I then found Excel Hydrocortisone Spray while surfing 1-800-PedMeds for help. Bottom line, my dog thanks you! and I greatly thank you! this product has been a life savior.

Great temporary relief
My mini Doxie has allergies and her skin often becomes irritated from scratching. This product offers instant relief between bath days! It has a light pleasant scent.

is this an oily spray?
I bought a similiar spray from pet store and it was oily.....making my dog an oily greasy mess when I sprayed it on her.....
No, it isn't really oily, has a bit of a creamy feel in a watery base, , easy to spray and I rub in a bit, so it starts to get into the skin before it gets licked off

Scratching/Irritation
I have a 7 year old beagle and she has been itching in the middle of her back for a few months and she usually starts scratching around fall/winter every year in the same spot. Gave her benedryl and it never seemed to help, took her to the vet and they gave her temporal-p which seemed to slow down the scratching but didn't stop it. Was wondering if this excel hydro spray would help. Any thoughts? (the vet did say getting her anal glands drained would help, so we did that and it did help but never stopped the itching.)

Can this be used with TriFexis?
My dog is currently on Trifexis but is still itching. I am not sure if it is due to his flea allergy or other bug bites. Is there any danger in using these two products together?

The instructions gave no age specifics as to usage, so, I would say it is safe to use on your puppy! :)

Can I use on the eye lids of my dog top and bottom as he has gotten into poison oak?

The instructions expressly prohibits use near eyes or mouth, so, I would say that you should not use this product on your dogs eyes.
