What is the Groom Genie?

The Groom Genie is a unique grooming tool that works on any fur, hair and pet type. Designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, the Groom Genie combines petting and brushing in one calming, gentle process. Soft, flexible, tri-length bristles gently glide through your pet's coat, unraveling knots and removing loose hair without pulling. The ergonomic design makes brushing your cat or dog easier and more natural than ever. Each stroke pulls natural oils through the fur to improve coat shine and skin health, and the flexible bristles won't scratch or harm your pet's delicate skin. The Groom Genie can be used on wet or dry fur. It is available in three sizes: 4" Groom Genie for cats, 4" Groom Genie for small dogs and 5" Groom Genie for medium to large dogs.

How it works:

The Groom Genie helps improve grooming time for both pets and pet parents. Designed to comfortably fit in the palm of your hand, Groom Genie feels more like petting than brushing. The soft, flexible bristles are gentle on your pet's skin, yet effective at removing loose hair. The tri-length bristle pattern helps grab and hold loose hairs at various levels in your pet's coat. Since dogs and cats feel like they are being pet rather than groomed, they are more likely to happily cooperate so you can brush your pet more often. Increased brushing means a healthier coat, less shedding, fewer hairballs for cats, and a cleaner home.

Directions for short-haired pets:

Holding the Groom Genie in the palm of your hand, stroke the bristles gently along your pet's coat.
Work the Groom Genie through your pet's fur from head to tail to remove dirt and debris.
Make sure to brush in the direction the coat grows.
Brush every body part, concentrating on one section at a time to remove dirt, dead hair and knots.

Directions for long-haired pets:

Regular grooming is a must. Lack of brushing leads to stubborn knots and may also lead to health complications like skin wounds.
Start brushing the legs and abdomen, gently combing the fur upward toward the head.
Next, comb the neck fur upward toward the chin.
Finish by parting the tail down the middle and gently brushing out both sides.

Tip:

Cleaning the Groom Genie is easy. Hair and fur lift right out and the brush washes clean in seconds.
