What is Preva Medicated Wipes?

Preva Medicated Wipes are presoaked, medicated wipes effective against a wide spectrum of bacterial conditions including Staphylococcus aureus, S. intermedius and S. schleiferi.

The active ingredient, Nisin, is a natural antimicrobial agent that effectively cleans and conditions the skin. Preva Medicated Wipes are ideal to use between baths or after your pet comes in from playing outdoors. Use to swab crevices and paw pads, neck and facial folds, and the anal area as necessary.

Gentle enough for everyday use, Preva Medicated Wipes may be used for the cleansing of bacterial skin conditions between medicated shampoos or skin treatments, as well.

How it works:

The active ingredient in Preva Medicated Wipes is Nisin, which is a natural antimicrobial agent. It helps kill bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, S. intermedius and S. schleiferi. However, it is still gentle enough for daily use, including general cleaning and conditioning of the skin and coat.

Cautions:

For topical use on dogs, cats and horses. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If eye contact and irritation develops, rinse thoroughly with water, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian immediately.

Preva Medicated Wipes may be used to clean and treat topical bacterial skin conditions or for general cleansing.

Each wipe should be used once and discarded.

Is it OK if the dog licks once dry? Can it be used daily?

My vets thinks my lab mix has a staph infection from the grass/pollen. He lays on the grass. I have a medicated shampoo but there are times I cannot shampoo him and certainly not on a daily basis. So I am thinking of getting this to wipe his tummy where he usually gets the rash after I know he has laid in the grass I have another dog and I am worried my little one might lick his big brother. If it is dry is it OK I would like to use this to clean off any pollen can it be used like that, daily? Thank you,

What happens if the dog licks the area after I use the wipes ?

You would need to watch your pet. Do not allow your pet to lick the treated areas until dry.

Will this also treat yeast infections?

I want to use this in the deep skin fold on my dogs muzzle. Don't know if it is fungal, yeast or bacterial
