Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for cats I can see dogs eating these, but they're definitely not for cats. My cats love treats, but they stare at me all judgy if I try to give these to them. Don't waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from makes him worse I give this to my dog and he starts running around, digging in his beds. I tried it several times, always the same reaction. Something in this does not agree with my long haired dachshund.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not for cats I have no experience with the product use on dogs, but i got the small dog/cat chews for my cat. they are big, very hard to chew treats. My cat loved the smell and was very interested, but could not chew it at all. I even cut one huge chew into 6 pieces and he could only get one down, then he gave up, so if you are looking for calming treats for a cat, i would not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective Our 8 year old Basset had become needy and cranky. He started chewing his tail when nervous and became unbearable to be around. I found the Relax & Calm Chews and read that they are made with natural products so I decided to try them. I gave him 1 chew and saw immediate results. What a difference it has made; we have our calm, loving Basset back! Great product!

Will it help with furniture eaters?

My Wiener dog is a rescue and eats furniture when anxious. Will this help with that?

Safe for dogs with liver issues?

My 10-year-old dachshund mix has a liver shunt. Is this treat OK for him?

Hi there, Before you start any new supplement, vitamins or medications you would need to consult your vet to get the proper advice. Your vet would be the only one qualified (and know your pets history) to give you the correct answer your looking for.

Anxiety

My rescue dachshund does not like the crate, but must be crated when we have to leave the home. She will chew and tear up furniture. When she is in the crate, she whines, barks and slobbers all over the floor. Will this help calm her when she is crated? thanks.

calm chews work well and safe

are calm chews ok to give daily just as a relaxation/calming of temperament eg: easily frightened cats/potty indoor areas to mark territory and compete for dominance indoors (3cats) just a "chill" pill? Also older dog/cock-a-poo barks when we leave alone at home? Might this help w/separation anxiety?
Asked by: katydid
Yes, these calm chews can be given on a daily basis. The calming effect should help relax the cats and reduce aggression. Also the calm chews can help with separation anxiety. With the indoor cats marking territory, the cats feel most threatened when they get " jumped" by another cat when trying to get to and from the litter box. Make sure you have enough litter boxes and the boxes are easily accessible. If you have 3 cats, i would recommend having 4 litter boxes. Also, if possible, separate the cats for a little while each day. This will help reduce some of the anxiety. Best of luck to you and your pets
