How it Works:
Hang your pet's paw print ornament on your Christmas tree or with other holiday decorations in your home.

Directions
- Knead putty for 30 seconds.
- Spread putty out in template (plastic shaping ring) provided.
- Smooth putty using rolling pin provided.
- Place your pet's paw in putty to make an impression.
- When dry remove the putty from the plastic shaping ring.
Tip:
If putty leaves residue on your pet's paw, gently remove with a warm washcloth.

I bought two kits and both were very disappointing! I followed the directions and the putty shrank to the point you counldnt recognize the paw print!

We made our Golden Retriever's paw print kit this morning, and it was so great and the clay very smoothe, however as it dried, it got uneven texture to it and it is not very attractive. The idea is great, and we were excited to have it to hang on our tree. I would like a replacement, as it is an item our family truly wanted to have as a memorable addition to our Christmas tree.

Have to throw them out!
I was so upset because I bought two of these since this may be my oldest dogs last Christmas and I followed directions thoroughly including minimum air exposure before doing the paw print impression. (This is not my first paw print kit I've used either). The putty FILLED IN on most sections and rose making the paw print almost unrecognizable on BOTH of them! It also cracked everywhere within a short period of time! I will likely have to throw them out since you can't even tell it's a paw print anymore! This is so pointless to have an item where the putty is of such poor quality that it does not stay after the impression is made. I even tried to put my own fingers in there to push it back down and it rose up again. Knowing this could be my dog's last Christmas more or less last MONTH makes this even more infuriating! Waste of money! I want a refund! And I have NEVER complained in an online review about a product purchased in my entire life!

Does not keep shape...
Not sure if I got a bad batch, or what, but I tried three times to take a paw print of my dog. At first it kept its shape, but after a few minutes the whole imprint was gone and the putty had flattened. Once it started to dry, it just cracked and I was eventually left with a flat disc of cracked putty. No remnants of my dogs paw were visible. Pretty sad as my wife and I give each other one Christmas ornament a year, and now I have nothing to give her. Boo =(

Fun Holiday project!!!
We bought one of these last year when we got a puppy for my daughter as a Christmas present. It really added to the fun of the holiday and gave us a keepsake we can put on the tree every year. The ornament was really easy to make and turned out beautiful! We love it!!

What is the size of the template?
Is it large enough for a large dog (German Shepherd, for example) pawprint?
3" template and a 4" template. Don't bother though. It doesn't work. The quality is poor and the impression fills back in making the print unrecognizable. I have to throw mine out for both of my dogs even though I followed the directions to a "t."
