How it Works:
Synovi G4 contains boswellia serrata extract, tumeric, glucosamine, MSM, creatine, and perna canaliculus. Boswellia serrata extract and tumeric are believed to promote healthy joint function and to have anti-inflammatory properties. Glucosamine is a natural compound found in healthy human and animal cartilage that helps to protect and repair joints by increasing the production of molecules that form and repair cartilage. SynoviG4 also contains grape seed extract, increased levels of vitamin C (compared with SynoviG3), vitamin E, and free radical fighting antioxidants.

What is this product used for:
SynoviG4 is recommended to support joint function and flexibility, and help strengthen joint cartilage. Formulated with a synergistic blend of Boswellia, Tumeric and antioxidants in a highly palatable soft chew.
Availability:
SynoviG4 is a non-prescription (OTC) product.
How this product should be used:
The suggested initial dose in dogs 5 to 15 lbs is 1/2 chew per day, for dogs 16 to 30 lbs give 1 chew per day, for dogs 30 to 60 lbs give 2 chews per day, for dogs 60 to 100 lbs give 4 chews per day and for dogs over 100 lbs give 5 chews per day. After 4 to 6 weeks a suggested maintenance dose is half of the initial dose for dogs 5 to 15 lbs is reduce to every other day dosing. For dog 16 to 30 lbs give ½ chew daily. For dogs 30 to 60 lbs give 1 chew per day. For dogs 60 to 100 lbs give 2 chews per day and for dogs over 100 lbs give 2 and 1/2 chews per day.
What are the side effects:
Administer during or after your dog has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
What special precautions are there:
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Consult with your veterinarian before using this product in animals: with clotting disorders, being treated with anticoagulant medications; with diabetes, or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia; with a history of urinary tract stones; known allergies to shellfish. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.
How should I store this product:
Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children and other animals.
Directions:
- Give SynoviG4 to your dog during or after a meal to reduce gastrointestinal upset.
- Do not give SynoviG4 to cats.
Tip:
Diabetic dogs should have their blood glucose monitored when taking glucosamine supplements.

My dog has been taking these meds for 4 months, she is 11 years old, can still run with spunk when she wants to, and she reminds me in the morning it is time for her pill. She loves them and they help her little joints.

What a change in my dog's mobility!
I have a 10-year-old poodle mix who was going downhill physically. She could no longer jump onto the bed or my lap. She used a dog step to get up to the bed. The 3 steps to go outside were a growing challenge. She started each daily walk limping on a back hind leg and became a 3-legged walker before we got home, Sometimes I would just carry her back.
After reading reviews, I decided to try the chews, because the vet said she was still a healthy little dog. The chew is her bedtime treat, and within a week she began jumping up on my lap, no longer limps, and walks on 4 legs happily. I'm so happy to see her moving again without hesitation.

Best supplement ever! from
My dogs think there a treat!
Great savings ordering them here instead of through their vet. My dogs love taking them and think they're getting a snack when they see me pull out the container. The supplement seems to work well because they move around with so much ease since starting with them. Overall, they work so well that I would continue ordering them from their vet if they didn't sell them here.

My miniature Doxie has arthritis in both back hips, she has been taking the Synovi G4 for two years and what a difference. She has no problems with her hips at all. I do give 1/2 chewy everyday.

Works Wonders!
I have a 12 year old shepherd/rott mix who started having trouble getting up. After being on this for a week I noticed an improvement. After two weeks, he was jumping up like he was a puppy again! He loves taking the chewables too. He thinks they're treats.

really helps with my old girl
my old girl (a female rott mix breed) recommend these to give her along with the senior joint vitamin tabs i was already giving her.and the rimidyl pills for pain.she has the back end leg pain and what i call the hip sway.and i totally noticed a difference.she gets up alot faster and can make it up the stairs faster than me (two flights of stairs) and i am still in my 30's.(ok late 30's.but still..lol ) most important thing is her quality of life.and if she can still walk.eat and do the back roll on the grass,and beg for treats.i know she is still a happy dog. i would recommend this product for your older dogs.

Minimum age?
I was wondering if there was a minimum age for this product. I have a 100# 7 month old english mastiff and would love to start him on this now, but did't know if you had a certain age requirement because of the ingredients and his developing system.

G4 works wonders but my 7yr terrier is allergic to wheat (hot spots). Are there similar no wheat supplements?
My 10-yr-old poodle mix has issues with wheat as well (chews her paws). I chose to give her a reduced dose of the chew (by her weight) and so far, so good with the wheat issues. I would like to know if there is an alternative without wheat, also, but for now, the chew is working for us.
