What is Phycox?
Phycox® is a joint supplement to help reduce inflammation and discomfort due to normal daily activity. Each formulation of Phycox® contains a natural source of phycocyanin, an extract of blue-green algae offering joint support and stress relief. If your dog has allergies, use Phycox HA HypoAllergenic, which contains no mammalian protein (no protein liver flavor).

How it Works:
Phycox helps to support joint mobility, and bone structure. The highly concentrated source of phycocyanin works by blocking the COX-2 enzyme to reduce inflammation. Phycocyanin also fights against free radicals to help strengthen your dog's immune system and protect against cellular damage which can also play a role in degenerative conditions. Phycox and Phycox HA HypoAllergenic work the exact same way, with Phycox HA HypoAllergenic being suitable for dogs with allergies. Additional beneficial ingredients in Phycox® include
Cautions:
Safe use in pregnant pets or pets intended for breeding has not been proven. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. For use in pets only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. Administer with food or after your dog has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
Directions:
- Phycox products should be given with food or after eating to avoid gastrointestinal upset.
- Do not give Phycox to cats.
Tip:
Diabetic dogs should have their blood glucose monitored when taking glucosamine supplements.

Great product!!!
We have older dogs that were struggling with hip problems. It's amazing to see the improvement in the dog's movement after several weeks of use. I now have started giving Phycox to my other dogs as well!

arthritic lab dramatic improvement.
Our 60lb lab mix had limes disease as a youngster. now at 11 years old her hips have deteriorated from the limes.
there were days when she would need to be carried out to go to the bathroom. now just one of these a day and she is enjoying all her old activities again like playing fetch !

REALLY WORKS, and FAST!
I have a 15.5 year old Shiba Inu. She slipped on the ice during this ridiculous winter and vet thinks she messed up either her shoulder or disc in back. Limps intermittently. I told him I had been giving her Glyco-Flex chews bought online and he gave me samples of this Phycox. Well, this dog has turned into a Crazy Puppy within a handful of days after giving her the new chews! My husband and mom have noticed too. The dog does not love the taste so I have to put it in her dinner food along with a little bit of people food, but the next morning there she is, zipping and bouncing through our daily 5:30am walks! I can hardly believe it! I will be ordering these online right now! Thanks, Phycox!

Incredible Product !!!
Our 7 month old pomeranian would run and play just fine, then out of nowhere would start limping, picking up his right rear leg. About 10 seconds later he would be fine again, back to running like a young pup should. The vet diagnosed him with floating kneecaps and recommended several joint supplements. Phycox was on the list and that is what we chose. Toby loves his small chews, he gets 1 a day and thinks of it like a treat. It has been 6 months now and Toby has not limped once since he has been getting his Phycox. Thanks Phycox, you gave a young dog the playful life he deserves!!

Love this product
Phycox was recommended by my vet for my aging Lab's arthritis. He loved the flavor (although was never a picky eater) and the product helped him move much better. It was such an improvement that I recommended it to two sisters with aging arthritic dogs and they both had good results. I am now using it for my aging tripod Heeler and my two-year Corgi who has residual issues after an ACL tear and his vet suggested supplements for his stiffness, discomfort and impending arthritis. It is rather expensive, but I can see the difference if I do not give it to them.

Tastes bad
I have three large dogs. One of them rejected the Phycox chew right away, the second rejected it after a few months, the third eats it with no problem. Even with crumbling it up and trying to disguise it with other yummy additives to the food, the dogs who dislike the taste won't eat any of the food it is in. When I tried coating it with their favorite peanut butter, they found a way to lick off the peanut butter and leave the Phycox. I eventually gave up, and am looking for a joint supplement they will eat.

Excellent Supplement
I have an older lab with a residual orthopedic injury in a front leg and new onset arthritis in his hind legs and an older min pin with only 3 legs and old orthopedic injuries.
My lab was getting to the point that he could not walk down stairs without falling, he was unable to climb onto the couch or beds and wouldn't get up at night to go outside because of his pain.
He had been on supplements from GNC with no marked difference. My vet recommended Phycox and provided us with samples. The difference was noticeable almost immediately. It seemed boost his mood and energy right away. The difference in his joints was incredible and occurred within hours. He still limps and eventually slows down, but without this, he was experiencing a decreased quality of life.
I give them to my min pin as a preventative. I call it their medicine and at this point, the word "medicine" gets a better reaction than "treat". Of course, they eat anything, but they really seem to look forward to their morning dose every day so I assume they enjoy the taste.
I recommend this product entirely. Of course, nothing is going to completely heal my dog, but nothing has worked like this. He can keep up with other dogs for awhile and still do all the things he loves. For its effectiveness, its priced very well and worth every penny. No complaints on my end.

My dog is taking vetprofen (carprofen) for 15 days and baytril for 7 days because of his recently diagnosed hip dysplasia. Can phycox be taken at the same time or same days? Thank you.

It was recommended by Breeder to start our Black Lab on a joint supplement @ 1 yr old. He's 2 now. Are there benefits to giving as a preventative.
