New product?? Won't eat
My cat used to love VitaChews. For the last 4 or 5 months, he will not touch them. They were labeled Soft Vita Chews when he ate them, and still say that, but packaging is different. Were they reformulated?

I have two cats Tabatha and Jack. I originally got these to boost Tabatha's immune system as she gets eye infections quite a bit. She loves them and everytime I walk into the kitchen where they are stored she thinks it's treat time and is constantly wanting some. Now Jack on the other hand is very picky and won't touch them.
Overall, I recommend them.

Great Product
We have 2 stray cats we picked up as a result of foreclosed homes. 1 cat was ill and infested with worms and fleas. The other had skin problems.
Both cats were brought to the vet to eliminate any life -threatening problems.
After that, I gave both cats the Soft VitaChews. The cats who was heavily infested, now has a soft-beautiful coat. The other cat no longer has skin lesions, her coat is silky and shinny.

Effective IF they eat it.
I have two cats, and while one eagerly eats the treats, the other is less willing. I began covering them in meats or cheeses to get her to eat them, and she now will eat them on her own without anything extra. Now, there's less vomiting, less over-grooming, and they both seem overall happier.

Surprised Me!
I also have a very picky 9 year old Manx. She has digestive issues and dry skin that she scratches at all day. She is extremely picky about her food and so I know that she may not be getting all of the nutrients she needs. I saw that these were on sale for $5 and figured I had nothing to lose. I gave her the first one today which she sniffed at. Just as I was thinking there goes $5, she gobbled it up! I will follow up on this post regarding it's effectiveness but just the fact that she ate it is a major step. I hope these work for her.

My Cat Will Not Eat These
We know that cats are finicky eaters. My cat will not eat these. We tried whole and she walked away. We tried breaking them into small bits and stirring them up with her wet food. She just sniffs the food and refuses to eat. I gave this four stars anyway because they probably are effective if you can get your cat to eat them and it is a good deal.

Great treat substitute
Simon has loved these vitamins for years. I eventually just stopped giving him regular treats and he thinks this is a treat instead. I usually only give him 1 a day because he has a tendency to gain weight too easily. But he loves these and they are good for him rather than just an ordinary treat.

I noticed this product has iodine and phosphorus. Is this product safe for cats with hyperthyroidism and kidney problems? If not, what do you recommend?

With this type of supplement thas=t would be fine, whatever the body does not use will be eliminated.

What is the protein content?
As a result of Vet recommendations, I'm trying to keep the protein intake low for my 19 y/o with kidney and thyroid problems. I would like to give her a supplement though that provides Omega-3 and other nutrients (she's on wet Friskies) but can't tell if this supplement has a protein content. Thanks.
