Update!
Now that our shepherd-collie has been on these for nearly a year, and we're into her usual itchy period, wanted to write an update.
Her coat is still unbelievably soft and fluffy, and although she still scratches at times, it's improved 95%. Rarely is she causing sores on herself from the scratching, and she never chews herself raw anymore.
We plan to use this the rest of her life. Very satisfied with the results!

we have a shiba inu with exceptionally dry skin in the winter months, which results in chewing and balding. one of these per day and his fur is back to normal. in my experience they work better than the $15-30 bottles from the big chain stores.

This product is effective
I began giving both my labs the omega 3 capsules about 9 months ago. Not only has it helped one of my labs allergies, along with a daily zyretc, the coats on them are so shiny and healthy. I throw a capsule in their food every morning and they gobble it up. I thought I would have to "mask" the pill but apparently not! I would strongly recommend the omega 3 capsules for your dog,regardless if they have allergies or not. It is good for the joints too. I give this review a 5 * rating.

Great product
We have a golden retriever who weighs around 80 lbs. I know how important fish oil is to humans, and this product is made especially for my husband's "best friend"! She gets one twice a day; I just throw it on top of her food, and she loves it! I want her to remain healthy, which is harder for big dogs.

Product relieved my dog's dry skin!
Before I began using the Super Pure Omega 3 pills my labradoodle had terrible itching episodes resulting in hot spots that took days or weeks to heal. I knew I needed help. I began researching and came across the Super Pure Omega 3 pills and decided to give them a try. At first my dog didn't know what to do with the pill when I put it in his morning meal. After a few minutes of playing with it he ate it without complaint. Over 2 weeks I slowly noticed his itching decreased. Now almost a year later he has no more hot spots and no itching. He gets one pill each morning and loves it. Great and affordable product that I'm glad I found.

yes my 15lbs yorkie-poo does not like it either but hes been biting and scratching his skin alot . i feed him puppy merrick and its not the food because ive tried all types of great food and nothing has changed! so the way i feed him this pill is i slightly coat it with peanut butter and he swallows it right up every time lol ! so people just slightly coat it with any type of peanut butter a low sugar one is best and watch it disappear!

I ordered this for my puppies, one weighs 5 lbs and the other is 9.5 lbs. I just realized that one capsule is for a 50 lbser! Can I still return this or is it okto use it for both of them? Thanks

Need a smaller omega 3 pill for my small dog
The omega pill is too big for my dog & he hates the taste when he bites into it. Does it come in a smaller pill form he could swallow with a little peanut butter. My Vet wants him to take the omega 3 pill. Thank you.
You could always try the soft chew form of this pill for dogs that don't like the taste.

Can I give my dogs the same fish oil that I take?
Does human fish oil and animal fish oil differ? I can't afford to spend a lot of money because I'm on a fixed income but I want to help my 2 dogs. Can they be given the fish oil that I take?
I am not a vet nor do I claim to have medical knowlege, but generally they are similar or the same, just read the label to make sure you are not giving anything else (just fish oil, not a mix of other vitamins) but I've done it and will likely do it again, looking at these the human pills seem to be cheaper and likely higher quality...just read the ingredients, etc, but if it is just fish oil and mercury is removed (good to check for, and I don't know if these do or don't, I'm looking to find out now) but I do it, and it has helped my little senior beagle with no problems

Is this safe to give to a dog who is taking thyroid medication and Rimadyl?
My lab retriever is 13 years old and taking a daily dose of Levothyroxine (.7mg, 2x a day) and Rimadyl (.75mg 1x a day). Additionally, we give him Dasuquin chews daily. Would it be recommended to add the joint supplement? I don't want to overload him with supplements/meds, but I've noticed his hind legs are getting worse.
