How this product should be used:
The suggested dose for animals up to 10 lbs is 5cc 2 times a day, 11-20 lbs give 5cc 3 times day, 21-30 lbs give 10cc 3 times a day, for 31-50 lbs give 15cc 3 times a day and 51 lbs and over give 20cc 3 times a day.
What are the side effects:

This stuff works fast!!
My vet recommended Fast Balance for my (long haired) cat with unrelenting diarrhea. That's a lot of sits baths. Poor guy. I tried probiotics thinking that was the answer. When I got Fast Balance for my guy, it took only one dose to cure him. Vet cautioned me about giving more than one dose - a wait and see - so I didn't cause the opposite problem. I wouldn't be without Fast Balance in my arsenal.

Great but the applicator sucks
I have been using this for my cat. She has stopped puking and even put on a couple of pounds. Only set back is it is hard to use. I pump out a small amount and have to mix it in with moist food for her everyday.

Best I've found!
I have a baby with Manx syndrome and all the irregularity and incontinence that goes with it. It has worked where multiple other probiotics have failed...and in 24 hours! Will always have this on hand! What a blessing!

Good concept but needs an innovative application
I have two shih tzu's. My female just had puppies and I am giving her less than recommended dosage while she is nursing because she was suffering from diarrhea since giving birth but since using this product (3 days) her stools have hardened up a bit and are now soft stools and hopefully will get her normal with further use. (Product does caution that safe use in pregnant animals and animals used for breeding has not been proven hence the low dosage as a precaution.) She loves the taste and gives me no problems licking it off my finger. My male shih tzu abhors it completely and turns away from it every time it is offered. I have had to apply small dosages to turkey bites to get him to eat it and even then he won't accept his favorite treat from me anymore and will only eat it if my wife offers it to him and will do so with some reservation. We can't figure this one out except that he just doesn't like it but it has helped him as well. The applicator should include a specially sized tube to make administration of the product easier for situations such as these in which case I would give it a higher rating. My male doesn't seem to trust me anymore because of the ways I have had to fool him in to consuming it. One of which was putting the dosage on his upper lip so that he would have to lick it off. I regret using that technique now and should have just dabbed his treats with it as I am now doing. Overall, it does stop vomiting and diarrhea pretty quickly IF you can get them to take the recommended dosages which is why I believe a tube for the applicator would help. All dogs are different and some are extremely difficult (like my male) but losing his trust while trying to help him hurts. But then again, kids don't like the taste of medicine

Sweety does not care for the taste I gave her one dose so far ,the stool is better ,but at the same time Sweeety has been taken the probiotics for more than a year ..every day.

Good but hard to use
The product seems to help our 8lb cat but the applicator is hard to use. I find it is better to apply a small amount to her bowl then add her food and mix well. It would be better to offer the product in single serving pouches like a soy sauce packet. Not sure how long the product will be stable in the syringe package it comes with.

Very Good Product
Every so often a product comes along and makes life just a little bit easier. This is one of them. I have used this product several times over the course of the year when my little dog (around 6lbs.) has digestive issues. She doesn't really care for the taste, but when I mix it with a little peanut butter it makes it easier to give to her. The product works pretty quickly, usually within the first 30 minutes I can tell my pet feels better and she is back to normal. Would definitely recommend as I have not noted any side effects in my pet from taking the product.

This product is a complete failure
My husband and I struggled with this product for days until it was completely used up. The product was very thick and hard for Rudy, our cat, to swallow. After wasting our money on this expensive product, it was a total failure. I am sorry we put our cat through the torture of force feeding him this mess.

How many CC's are in this tube?

Cat people have answers?
Does anyone with cats have any tricks to get their cat to willingly take Fast Balance? Especially in such large amounts as 5 cc's 3 times a day? And what do you do when they have GI upset and won't keep anything down or take it? Anyone feel like fighting an elderly cat is just not right? Will not lick off paws. Thanks!
I spent over $800 trying to save my little tabby, but she was just tired and getting weaker and sicker by the minute force feeding her was just so traumatic and then she would throw it up. It just made me so sick to see her so miserable. I finally decided the kind thing to do was put her to sleep. You have to decide is your elderly cat just being made miserable by your desire to save her, or will she be able to get better and still have quality of life? If the answer is the former, then I would say let her go, she probably wants to. If she is still relatively healthy and active and the condition is a passing problem, then get it down her as best as you can.

Will this help our cat with her vomiting?
We have 2 cats, they both have a problem with vomiting. We have tried all kinds of food. They seem to do best with soft food but they still vomit up the food hours after they have eaten. Will this medication help this and then will we be able to put them back on reg cat food?

my swolled at least 6 ins. of yarn, i couldnt catch him...waht should i give him for it
Watch to see if it comes out with in 24 hours. If not get him to the VET because it can get hung in the intestines and then you'll have a serious problem.
The minute you knew it ate it you should have induced vomiting or taken it to the vet.
