How this product should be used:
Add half a dropper-full of Be Serene to your pet's fresh water every day. For extra stressful situations, add 3-5 drops by mouth 3-4 times a day or as needed. To increase the effect, give more often rather than more volume. Add a dropper-full to a spray bottle filled with spring water, and use it to spray a room, carrier, car, or around litter boxes. Or put a few drops in your hand and massage around the head and ears.

First three days Oreo didn't let the other two cats bully her and she wasn't over grooming. Now we are right back to running away from the other cats and I'm going crazy with her new bald spots. Just don't think this product was what I was expecting it to be.

Bought Be Serene to control FIC
I purchased Be Serene after my 10-yr-old FIV+ cat was diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis. I am concerned with her quality of life, and was looking for a natural remedy. I added a few drops to the water bowl, and rubbed a drop on each ear for a few days. Since then, I have been adding a few drops to the water bowl each day, for almost a year now. She has had one or two FIC episodes since last Fall, but symptoms disappear in a day. She still runs arounds and plays like a kitten.

Does not work on my Papillion
Does not work at all for my Papillion I have been using it for since 5/8/12 and no change at all either by mouth or in water or even food. I did not know about the drops in the hand and mesagging the head and ears so I will at least give it a try before a final decision is made, I want it to work for her. Paso8

Very Disappointed
We brought home a new kitten and our siamese was not impressed. As the kitten grew they began to fight. Looking for a product that would help with the problem we bought Be Serene. Use it for a couple of weeks and there was no change in either cat. We put it in the communial waterbowl and in the kittens food and it had no effect on either cat.

Not worth it
I bought this for my 9 lb. cat who is just a nervous sort about everthing. The doorbell or telephone rings and he's under the bed for hours. He hasn't come downstairs for 6 months, since we acquired a new stray female cat. He lives, eats, sleeps upstairs, including having to move his litter box upstairs.
We have seen no effect using Be Serene.
Therefore, NO, I don't recommend it all!!!

Is this product good for Persian cats?
I have 4 Persian cats and sometimes when we travel for 2-4 hours one lady cat starts crying, I know that Persians are extremely sensitive to some medicine.

Does B-Serene prevent motion sickness in cars?
We adopted a 5 year old black lab mix. Everytime we take him in the car, he throws up. Dramamine and Homeo Pet Travel Anxiety don't work. Any suggestions?

about quiet moments
I have a Westie who gets frantic with thunder and fireworks, there are no ordinances in our town so we never know when there will be fireworks--is it ok to give Quiet Moments every day and does it work with terriers.

What are the inactive ingredients, and what are the percentages of active/inactive ingredients?
Many companies have Proprietary inert (inactive) ingredients. It is a way manufacturers do not reveal their ingredients so other companies do not copy there product. The EPA/ FDA are aware of the ingredients but the company is not required to disclose it to the public.

Can this be used along with the prescription clomipramine?
Not only does my pug have separation anxiety, she's afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. I've tried EVERYTHING to calm her down, even Valium. Nothing works.
If your pet is being given clomipramine and that is still not helping, I would suggest you speak to your veterinarian first. Remember, however, it can take up to 3 weeks before the effects of clomipramine are noticed.
