What is this product used for:
Be Well for Cats is the optimum nutritional supplement for your cat. It targets the nutritional gap in your cat's commercial, cooked or raw food diet. Each 3/4 teaspoon serving provides 250mg of Omega 3 which promotes healthy heart, skin, coat, kidney, brain, joint and liver function.
Availability:
Be Well for Cats is a non-prescription (OTC) product available in a 6 oz resealable pouch.
How this product should be used:
Add Be Well to your cat's regular food according to its weight. Start with a small amount and gradually increase to the recommended level over the course of one or two weeks. Daily intake for kittens up to 5 lbs is 1/4 teaspoon. For cats 5 to 9 lbs give ½ teaspoon, for cats 10 to 12 lbs give 3/4 teaspoon and for cats over 12 lbs give 1 teaspoon.

There are no known side effects.
What special precautions are there:
This product is for animal use only and is intended for supplemental feeding only.

Contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.
How should I store this product:
Store this product in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening. Best if used within 90 days of opening.

really helped a sickly kitty I adopted
I used this after all else failed, to help a young underweight cat. with it she would eat more than a tablespoon at a time and all of a sudden could keep down dry food as well. I used it in less that recommended dosage on wet food. she's doing awesome now and I still have half a packet left, we haven't used it in months. Im grateful for how much it helped.

Great Product, Met My Needs
My older cat is 20 and was diagnosed with Thyroid, last year. He had lost a lot of weight and I was having trouble building him back up. This product seems to help him put weight back on and also cut down on the diarhea he was having. My younger cat, only one year old, was very skinny and not putting weight on, which I attributed to her youth and abundant energy. After using this product for nearly two weeks, she is filling out a bit. Both my cats seem to benefit from the Be Well and I'm happy with the results.

No more hairballs
My cat is no longer shedding combs full of hair or throwing up hairballs thanks to this product. She loves the taste and it has done wonders for her.

Product is Lousy
I have 3 cats two are 7 years old and the older one is 12 years old.
I have tried to get my cats to eat this product. I only started using a pinch in their foods. They would eat around the product avoiding it. More then a pinch and they would not eat their own food, until I removed the be well from it.
I also feed 3 stray cats, that come by my patio. They also will not eat the food if be well is in it. I am an actual user of this product. Not a fake made up review. This product stinks. NO cat in my area of Ohio will go near it. I returned this product to Pet Meds in the mail.

Skeptical at first but a believer now!
I was skeptical that this product would help my 12 year old cat's itching due to dry skin. Boy, did it make a difference! A lot less itching, plus his coat is softer and thicker with a noticeable richer color. He loves the taste. I mix it with his wet food in the morning.I will be buying this again.

Good and not so good
Ok my cat ginger loved the taste of this but she went to sleep wich is not ginger and then she just barfed it up and she throw up all over and I'm not happy at all and it was a only trying it but the other cat liked it and it worked on her but ginger wasn't well so I'm not happy and I want my money back

Be Well for cats has given me peace of mind. I'm blessed with two cats who have been with me for over 12 years (one for 14 years) and they seem a lot more active and healthy using this product.

does be well for cats help with allergy to dust mites
There are times that boosting the immune system can help with dust mite allergies. I read and read and read about it for my sneezing kitty. This is what I used to help this, benydral recommend was only making life worse for both of us (what the vet said to do), while its not designed to help with allergies, it is designed to help the immune system. All of my reading pointed to immune system when cats have allergies to dust or dust mites. This product has helped so much, it's been an absolute lifesaver in one of my cats regaining health after being adopted. She's still a fussy eater, but this also helps with that to an extent.

From the instructions, it seems you can't really ''överdose" but I want to be sure.

I give 3/4 tea spoon of Be Well to my cat according to your instruction.
Can you give this 1/3 three times a day, instead of all 3/4 at once? And also is it safe to give other supplement together? My husband thinks it;s OK.

Is it OK to mix Be Well with dry cat food in the morning and let it sit out all day?
I use a timer dish as I work 12 to 16 hours a day so their food is dispensed throughout the day. this means the Be Well sits out all day mixed with the dry food.

will this help with shedding
It may. My cat does not shed like she used to and her coat looks and feels wonderful. She doesn't have dandruff anymore either.

Can I givemore than 1 tbsp ?
Both of my furkids love the addition to their food. Both have rejuvenated themselves and almost stopped shedding completely. Is there some danger to give them more than indicated on the package? Thanks for your reply.
I also have a tendency to over medicate. I'd go only with the recommendations on the pkg. It's working well - don't mess that up.
