What is NaturVet Quiet Moments?
Quiet Moments is a supplement for dogs that provides support and comfort during times of anxiety, nervousness, tension, or stress such as traveling, grooming, thunderstorms, 4th of July fireworks, or trips to the veterinarian. It is a time-release chewable tablet that contains all natural active ingredients.

How it Works:
The natural active ingredients in Quiet Moments (including chamomile flower, passion flower, thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1), ginger, and L-Tryptophan) help support your dog's nervous system by reducing stress and tension in situations that commonly create anxiety.
Cautions:
Don't use prior to surgery or in pregnancy. Use caution when given with anti-anxiety drugs and MAO inhibitors (MAOIs) such as Anipryl or selegilene. Quiet Moments may add to the effects of anesthetics.

What is this product used for:
Recommended to help support the nervous system in reducing stress and tension as caused by grooming, thunderstorms or fireworks. Also recommended for dogs when traveling by car, plane or boat.
Availability:
Quiet Moments Time Release is a non-prescription (OTC) product available as chewable timed release tablets.
How this product should be used:
For use in dogs only over the age of 12 weeks and up to 26 lbs give 1/2 tablet daily. For dogs 27-50 lbs give 1 tablet daily, for dogs 51-99 lbs give 2 tablets daily and for dogs over 100 lbs give 3 tablets daily. Give 30 minutes prior to anticipated periods of anxiety, nervousness, tension, stress and agitation.
What are the side effects:
If the animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
What special precautions are there:
Do not give this product to animals younger than 12 weeks. Do not use prior to surgery or in pregnancy. Use caution when given with anti-anxiety drugs such as acepromazine, amitriptyline, clomipramine and Clomicalm and MAO inhibitors (MAOIs) such as Anipryl, selegiline, Mitaban Dip and Preventic Collar. This product may add to the effects of anesthetics. For Animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children and other animals.
In the event of overdose:
Contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.
How should I store this product:
Store at room temperature in the original pouch. Keep out of the reach of children.
Directions:
- Quiet Moments Time Release Chewable Tablets are for dogs over the age of 12 weeks, and are used to reduce stress and tension caused by events such as grooming, traveling, thunderstorms, or fireworks.
- Do not give to cats.
Tip:
Quiet Moments Time Release Chewable Tablets can interact with other medications. Check with your pharmacist or veterinarian before giving this product to pets taking other medications.

Easy to use and helpful!
Our lab/border collie mix is terrified of thunder and fireworks! He has clawed up carpet and hides and digs under beds while literally shaking. One or two chewable tablets seems to calm him better than anything else we've tried, including the Thundershirt. Nice to have something on hand that's natural and doesn't require a prescription! We've used this product for years and will continue doing so! Thanks for the Quiet Moments!

Works like a charm!
We take 4 hour road trips (to and from) almost every other weekend to visit family. Our 7 month old pup developed car sickness and started vomiting at least one or two times each trip. As an alternative to prescription meds, we tried quiet moments. I give her the recommended amount 30 minutes prior to traveling, and she sleeps the whole way!

This product calms my dog
Thanks to quiet moments my dog no longer snaps or tries to bit me to draw blood when ever I try to do her toe nails it also helps calm her down around my grand children so they can play with her this medication is exactly what her doctor recommends it's just to bad that us humans can't take it during the holidays

Great Product
I can't say enough about this product. I have been using this product for 5+ years. I used to have a dog that was terrified of thunderstorms and I would give him a dose of it and he would be calm throughout the storm. He didn't get dopey.
Now I have JJ and she is a very nervous dog and has to take a dose every other day to help her. I live in an apartment building (downstairs) and have an autisic child that lives upstairs. JJ gets very nervous when the little boy upstairs makes a lot of noise. I like the fact that the pill keeps her calm without the use of drugs.
Thank you to NatutVet for making this product all natural. Thank you to 800 Pet Meds for providing it to consumers like me that don't want to put drugs in our dogs bodies.

Not exactly what I need
I am still having trouble with my over anxious dog. Mrs. Beasley has several nervous habits. One, she pees a dribble if you raise your voice, or even sometimes if you just bend down to pet her, never mind picking her up. Also she will scratch furniture or anything in her way when a storm is upon us. She nips at my other 2 dogs when they run past her. This medication did some good with the storms, but it did not help her other anxieties too much. I even doubled the dose for a couple of days but that didn;t seem to help. I guess I will just have to keep looking.

calming moment from
helped my dogs anxiety
so we just got a new dog. She was living with her puppy and when she left she was freaking out. Whining and pacing barking. I knew it was going to get bad so i bought this before we got her. she was freaking out and i gave her one of these and she was calming down quick. Doesn't always work 100% of the time but it's great.

not worth it.
This product might work ... if your dog eats it. Our Leia didn't want to have anything to do with it. She will just spit it out. We tried to wrap it in ham, put it in her food, and even tried to bribe her with chicken. She didn't want anything to do with it. The only time she did in fact eat it (the first time we tried the product), she vomited the pill.
Will look for an alternative.

works for short lenghts of time
This works for my 16 pound Bichopoo who now is calm when I leave him for short periods. However, during a very bad storm, they did not help at all.

Please help me. My dog was rescued and high anxiety, told to try quiet moments calming aid, but may have given too many. She has terrified aand lethargic and behavior is extremely unusual since, which is already a month. Vet cant see physical problem.

Separation anxiety boxer 7 months
our sweet, and precocious 7 month old male boxer suffers from separation anxiety, he has plenty of chew toys and a 5 year old female dog in the house to play with. he is potty trained (uses doggie door) but we noticed only when his "people" are home. while we work during the day he always has potty accidents in the house and gets into things he never touches when we are home (even when we are not playing with him all the time) do you think this product might help him at least a little bit? i don't want to go back to the vet for prescribed meds so i want to try something more natural. thanks
I think this product is worth a try. Also, he is still very young. Hopefully he will settle down as
he matures and the separation anxiety will subside. Its wonderful he has another dog in the house to keep him company. Best of luck.

How long do the effects of this last? How many times per day can this be given?
We have an older English springer spaniel who is now blind and mostly deaf. She becomes anxious because she cannot tell what is going on, and she starts to wander through the house and runs into walls and furniture. Then she goes even faster because she is even more anxious. Just wondering if she can have this more than once per day and how long the effects of this last before another dose can be administered.

i have a 13 yr.old lab. every evening she barks until bedtime. vet said maybe sundowner syndrome. do you think any of your products would help her?
We have a variety of products to help with your pet's anxiety both prescription and over the counter. Some of our over the counter products include the quiet moments soft chews and tablets, be serene and comfort zone sprays and plug ins. Some prescription items include fluoxetine and clomicalm. Can I give my dog this product on a daily basis?
I have been giving my dog Clomacalm on a daily basis and it seems to help with his separation anxiety issues, but I would like to find a product that is less expensive.

Can I use this with acepromazine?
I have a 10lb Yorkinese. She doesn't like to be crated and put under the seat to travel on a plane. Who would?! I usually use acepromazine alone but it doesn't do the job. Can I use this product in addition to the acepromazine?
that is probably a good solution.....but since your pet is so small, I would recommend running
it by your vet as well for added safety.
